Amazon Basics Everyday Bath Towels, 6 Piece Set, Seaglass Green, 100% Soft Cotton, Durable

I am a senior who is recovering from a dislocated shoulder. I was finding it very difficult after my shower to dry off using my plush bath towels. They were so heavy that it hurt throughout the process. I ordered these "Amazon Basic" towels and I love them. They are incredible light weight because they are much thinner than my other towels. But they are incredibly absorbent. I will be using these for some time and will let the plushy towel decorate my bathroom on the rack! I have previously purchased "Amazon Basic" products and have never been disappointed.

I bought these towels for about $16. I chose this set of two towels because of the price and they were the color I wanted (a medium tone brown). They are doing their duty just fine--bath towels to dry off with after a shower. You definitely have to wash them before using or else you will get towel-fuzz all over your stubble, wherever your stubble may be. I tried drying my face with it before I'd washed them and I had fuzz all over me! After washing them, they fluffed up and of course became much softer! They are very soft, that's certain. They aren't quite as absorbant as I thought they would be, but not a huge deal to me, they're towels not "Sham WOW"! They still have little bits of excess fuzz/lint coming off but that is to be expected. The size of these towels is pefect--in the Goldilocks zone: not too big (like those GIANT bath towels that are overkill!) and not too small where you can't even get dried off. I'm satisfied with my purchase, that's for sure. If you're thinking about buying these (there is a HUGE variety to choose from on Amazon! God bless capitalism!) I would go ahead and make the purchase. And remember this: with the state of affairs the USA is in right now politically, it's more important than ever to treat each other with kindness & patience, especially those you disgree with. Be nice to other people.

After 2 washes these towels look like they were clawed by a cat. Long threads are now coming loose and hanging off the towels. Junk!

Despite some mixed reviews, I took a chance purchasing these towels. I figured the overall rating had to count for something, right?Well it does.I am very pleased with these towels. I was surprised by the quality, especially given the price. I purchased a similarly priced set that were so cheap and thin, I returned them immediately. These towels, on the other hand, are soft, they dry well, and they have the perfect thickness/plushness; they are not overly thick and heavy. Oddly, but not in a bad way, one side of the towel is softer than the other, like it's been combed or something. It's not that the other side of the towel is not soft, but there is a difference between the sides.I've washed them twice since receiving them and have experienced no unravelling or discoloration. The towels are still a little linty, on the softer side of the towel, and using that side does leave some lint on you when drying off. It's not a deal-breaker though. I've found that the less-soft side does not leave lint behind, so I'm making sure to use that side until I've washed them enough times that the softer side stops leaving lint.The color shown is pretty close to the actual product. I bought the Seaglass Green, and the shade is really close; they're just a little darker than the image shows. I knew these would be a little more on the blue-ish side than the color I've been hoping to find, but they still work well with my bathroom colours.If they made a light sage colour, they'd be almost the perfect towels for our bathroom.

Happy with these towels. Soft. Fluffy. End decorative strips do not shrink (I've always cut ends off because they don't fold neatly if "drawn up" at one or both ends). Nice color (blue/gray sort of). Very generous size to dry my 170 lb. body. Great price. I've washed them an average of twice a week (3 weeks). I notice no problem whatsoever. Occasionally, reading reviews here, I wonder if someone settled on an incorrect item when he/she reviewed, i.e., the photo of shredding thread. Doesn't remotely look like these towels. Anyway, I'm more beyond happy with mine. I bought a (for me expensive) "waffle" towel a while back. It's been fine and serviceable but a bit like drying self with cardboard. Microfiber towels I tried DRAGGED across body. Towels of this review are perfect and I'm pretty fussy. Not rich, but fussy! LOL

They work for the price.. honestly I bought those because they came in 2 for a decent price. But they're junk

Brand new straight out of packaging and into washer. Came out looking like a cat has had a fight with them. Amazon sending replacements we'll see what happens then. Another review showed same problem, wonder if they got a bad batch of material. UPDATE, received replacement and shredded exactly like original set. Will be sending them back and getting refund.

I purchased this 6 piece towel set in the Seaglass Green color. I've washed and dried them once so far with only one hand towel getting two small pulled threads. Dryer lint was minimal. The towels are soft, slightly fluffy and a good size with decent absorbancy. Again, minimal shedding while using them (unlike other more expensive towels that I've purchased in the past). This will probably be completely eliminated with another washing or two. As for the color, I'm super picky and I was looking for a watery teal or light mint green to match my bed sheets (Target pillow case shown) and shower curtain (Amazon Lazzzy waffle weave textured shower curtain, light teal). The towels are definitely green, a little different than the advertised picture, and I'd call it a bright mint, perhaps. The color is close enough especially because they'll probably fade over time and I'm planning to do some mixing/matching of tones. When purchasing I'd keep in mind that dye lots might vary which could explain why some reviewers of the seaglass green think it looks more blue(?).

I am very disappointed in your Amazon Basics towels that I ordered. You can almost see through them. We've ordered Amazon Basics sheets and have been very satisfied. But these towels leave a lot to be desired. Very poorly made and very thin almost to the point where you need 2 towels to dry off properly after a shower.

5 * review gotta be 100% fake. Towels ARE THIN, not as big / fluffy as on pictures at all.With taxes it comes to 18$ per small thin towel.

I was on the market for more towels as I lost a lot of my towels after my dog and I had an unfortunate run in with a skunk. I bought these because of the colour. I am definitely not happy with them though. The colour is as pictured. I got the light green ones. They are soft.... And those are the pluses. They are pretty thin. They come across as more of a towel for garage work or cleaning, as opposed to post shower dry offs.Another problem is that upon opening them, they had a very, very strong chemical type odour to them. I put them in the wash right away. I put them all in together with no other laundry. I don't believe the dye ran or anything like that. The issue came when I put them in the dryer. So much fluff came off them, the lint trap was overflowing. I am still trying to get it all out. Moving forward, I will likely have to wash them separately and line dry them instead of putting them in the machine. Disappointing, as I generally like the Amazon Basics products. Would not recommend, nor buy again.UPDATE: Upon using them a few time, terrible. You end up covered in fluff. Really disappointed.

These were delivered late -- but Amazon sent emails to apologize & then give a new date, so that was okay. A good product -- EXCEPT that they were covered in loose bits of cotton & fluff. I picked the worst off by hand; then with a brush; then tried a vacuum cleaner. Then I washed them -- & still bits came off! It took use & two laundries before I stopped picking bits of pink toweling off my dark bathroom floor. Now, I'm pleased with them -- but it took quite a lot of work on my part.

thought I would try to economize this time and get less expensive towels.....always a mistake.....pay more, get better and longer lasting towels....these are OK but flimsy and so full of lint I had to wipe down my bathtube after shower......and that is after collecting a TON of lint on first washer/dryer cycle.you get what you pay for :-((.....I had to order some more $$$ just now....and take the loss...these will be emergency towels now for spills and camping etc.....
