I really love this swim vest. I did my research and read lots of reviews before buying this one. I chose a puddle jumper and this swim vest. I chose to purchase the size medium even though my son is 23 lbs because I figured a 3lb different wouldn't matter. It is a little big on him but that's my fault for not ordering the small. It still does it's job though, I let go of him in the pool and this vest rolled him right over to his back like it should. I obviously am in the pool and holding on to my son at all times but it's good to know there's an added level of safety. It seems comfortable for him and we have no issues putting it on him. I saw reviews for other life vests saying it would put their child face down into the water if they let go. This one my son stays up right or on his back. I'm happy with this purchase it's what I expected and I would recommend this.

3 biggest concerns with this.#1 the title is deceiving. This is not allowed for boating.#2 my son is 23lbs now at the end of summer and I ordered it in the beginning. The padding in the small is not enough to keep his chin above water so he drinks way to much water. Could of ordered the Medium but again he is still only 23lbs. SOLUTION: we added some extra pads in the shoulders around his arms and now it’s somewhat better. Still would prefer the puddle jumper next summer though because I think it’s better.#3 the sewing isn’t the greatest. We had issues with the butt straps. Luckily I have supplies to sew it back together

This product fit well and I liked the idea they present with the full sleeve and vest. However, if I let go of my baby (16 months old) she would flip right onto her face in the water. Not ideal for a safety device when you’re trying to keep your baby afloat and not drowning if you’re unable to hold them.

Bought because puddle jumpers are to big for my 16 month old and she is very independent and wants to swim but needs assistance. The swim vest kept her afloat but kept laying her in her back which is definitely best as to keeping child from drowning however she was not able to swim or stay upright.

My son wasn’t a fan of life jacket style vests (18 months). I put this on him and he, no kidding, swam doggy paddle (with dad there) from one end of the pool to the other! Awesome vest! Only down side is the straps became loose after all that leg kicking so we had to adjust frequently.

My 2 year old daughte as afraid of getting into the pool , she was holding me in the water every time. My friend recommended that I bought this life jacket. Now she loves it and is so confidant in the water ,because she discovering that she could float by herself now when she wearing it. It's a great float and made me more relaxed.Great products!!!

Son likes it more than others we've tried, but inside of vest says it's not for boating and no coast guard certification.

My child is 3 years old and about 30lbs, and the fit is perfect for her. My daughter is comfortable wearing it and she can free to move around in the pool easily. I just need to watch her on the side.Really happy with this purchase.
