The best thing you can do is to buy an external DVD writer. you can plug it into a usb port and download it that way.

how do you open word documents in open office

Open Open office, go to file, in drop down menu, go to open file. It will then give you a menu of what's on your computer. (some of it isn't compatible) choose open and it should come up on your screen.

Does it work with Libra Office please. I have windows 10?

Open Office and LibreOffice have slightly different formats. I was not happy with both of them because they do not provide a function for priting in colour. I was very disappointed with both format. Best Wishes.

It works with my spreadsheet and docs

It is to replace my office suite on an upgraded pc from windows7 to windows10I tried an other free download suite. It appeared good but was hard to use. Open Office has been around a long time. It is tried and tested. It works well for me and retains and works well with my old existing spreadsheet and docs. At this price it is great value and worth spending a few gbp's to get something that does the business.

I got the CD version as it offered a few extras. And, spending a few quid on this compared to the costly alternative we all know was a no brainer. Installed easily and is easy to use. Templates side of things was a little bit complicated but not unsolvable. I saved the templates that I wanted to my desktop which when I double click on it opens up OpenOffice. Just a word to wise, not all their CDs say "Premium Edition" on them but I have been assured it is. And, also assured it will work with Windows 11. Am presently using 10 with expectation that update will come fairly soon so pleased it has that compatibility. Btw, in the box the instructions provide a link for getting the software should the CD be an issue.

Bargain of the yrar

Excellent product. New computer wanted me to install 365 at around £100 a year! Loaded OpenOffice and asked if I wanted documents to open with it and excel spreadsheet ran perfectly. Highly recomend this at under a tenner.
