Nice quick do-it-yourself test
It's a little pricey, but overall I'm pretty satisfied with the product (and that I seemingly passed the test). It has clear, easy-to-follow instructions, and doesn't take much time at all - 7 minutes for results, about an hour total time. Read the instructions a few times and then just start checking them off as you go. I got a head-start because the company has a copy of the instructions on their website for download, which is nice. I also found a coupon for a $10 rebate if purchased during the 2014 calendar year - I'm not sure if online/amazon purchases count (it said to include a copy of the "cash register receipt", which I obviously don't have from amazon, just a printed copy of my order/invoice), but I would hope so. If I think of it, I'll follow up if I get a rebate check in 4-6 weeks! I was a little nervous in the 2 days leading up to the test, but there was definitely an ominous two-minute wait period towards the end of the test, plus the final moment as you're putting 6 drops into the test that will determine the fate of your unborn children. Steel yourself. My line was faint, but it was definitely there. It made me wonder if somebody with superman sperm would have a super-dark line. Does anybody know if a darker Test line equates to a higher sperm count by comparison to a really faint line? Meaning in theory a dark line might be 50 million and a faint line would be the 20 million base? We haven't started trying to get pregnant yet, I was just doing this test because my brother is having issues conceiving and apparently has some issues with his swimmers and got me a little paranoid. I would definitely recommend this as a quick way to find out something, though I also would suggest you talk to your doctor and see a urologist if you're seriously concerned and need help. It's nothing to be embarrassed about - get as much info as you can so you figure it out for your family's future. Good luck!

Poor customer service and a crappy product
So, obviously, this product requires a certain bodily fluid to work. My partner and I are TTC and wanted to make sure his swimmers were good. Ya feel me? This product was pricey. We liked that we could test his swimmers at home without him having to do the thing in a cup at the doctor's office. That's just kinda weird. So, we paid for it. Unfortunately, this test did not work. No line showed up, not even the control line. We waited like 25 minutes to see if anything would happen. Nada. We were annoyed and threw it out. I contacted manufacturer's customer service. I wasn't necessarily looking for a refund. Just wanted to let them to know it was faulty and they might be making some false claims about this being accurate. They wanted us to send the product back to them?? And they also wanted a picture of the faulty test. The first request was weird AF, because uhh... We used the test as intended and that's just gross. I could understand the picture thing. However, we were both irritated at this test, the process, and it not working. I was not digging it out of the trash. We took a chance because there are other bad reviews. I'm writing so that other people know to avoid this product. You definitely are risking your money with this. It seems very hit or miss.

If SpermCheck Fertility (20 million sperm) is negative, try SpermCheck Vasectomy (250,000 sperm)
SpermCheck makes two products. The SpermCheck Fertility detects sperm count over 20 million and comes with kit for 1 test. The SpermCheck Vasectomy detects sperm count over 20 million and comes with 2 tests. These appear to be the only two products that are currently on the market. Looks like when SpermCheck first came out, one kit tested for 5 million sperm as well as 20 million sperm on same tester but that's no longer sold. If someone wants to check their sperm count, I'd recommend using the SpermCheck Fertility kit. If it's normal, you'll have peace of mind. If it's abnormal, you can get a second kit to check to verify. If the second test is negative, you should consider seeing a Urologist to get a real test done. In my case, I had bought a SperCheck Fertility kit at CVS two weeks ago and I couldn't see a line at 7 minutes. However, a line appeared 3 hours later. I wasn't sure if I was partially color blind or something so I bought another one at another CVS. This time, I also didn't see a faint pink line a 10 minutes but saw a faint colorless line 30 minutes later. I got worried and being someone who wanted to self-diagnosed, I went on amazon and got both the Fertility test kit and Vasectomy test kit. The Vasectomy test kit showed pink link after 2-3 minutes that was clean. That showed me that I did have at least 250,000 sperm. A week later, I tried the Fertility kit and after 7 minutes, it showed a faint pink line. I don't know if the test that came from amazon was newer than the ones at CVS but neither were expired. What I would say is that while the SpermCheck Fertility is a good start, use it with a grain of salt and you may need two kits to check your results.
