I love the idea of a family hub refrigerator, but I hate the price...and I just learned that they discontinue support of the tablet interface after only two years (how is that legal?). This magnetized holder gives me exactly what I want without the high price tag or future frustration.The base of the mount allows me to tilt my screen to almost any angle, so the sun's afternoon glare doesn't compromise my ability to use the tablet, and family members of every height can also use it easily. Switching from portrait to landscape is a simple matter of a quarter-turn of the screen; no need to unlock anything or remove the mount from the wall. The only drawback I can find is that the bracket only turns in one direction: clockwise. For people who keep their tablet plugged in, switching from portrait to landscape is fine, but switching back means having to unplug the charger to spin the tablet in a full circle. If I had to improve anything about this mount, that would be it.The unit ships with a loose swivel base, making it easy to connect the base to the bracket for the first time, and one quick twist with an allen wrench (not included) firms it up right as rain. The magnets are plenty strong, so when I accidentally mounted it in a place where it banged into the wall when I opened the fridge for the first time, it didn't send my tablet flying. And when my son reached for the fridge handle before noticing the new addition, he accidentally punched the side of the tablet and it held strong. In both instances, the tablet simply tilted to a new position. Despite these early snafus, the mount has a fairly low profile. Once I found the right spot for it on my black fridge, it basically disappeared into the scenery.As for removing the mount from the surface, just grab the arm and pull. The kit comes with two different sized brackets, so when it's time to swap out the tablet, I probably won't have to buy a new mount. Bonus!Again, the only improvement I would make is to allow the bracket to twist 360 degrees in both directions. Aside from that, I'm thrilled with my new setup, thanks to this mount.

Works perfect for our tablet on our fridge. Doesn’t move. Very sturdy. We use it for our calendar on the tablet

A little too tight but that’s ok. The rubber feet already fell off. Wonderful for the classroom. I wish I could tilt a full 170-180 degrees though.

I actually found an extra use for this. I set it on a table and just tilt it to create a stand. Other than that, the magnet is very strong (takes some effort to pull it off fridge). The grip is tight enough to hold the iPad in place without any fear of coming loose. It does tend to "droop" a bit after a while, but not terribly.

Used in food truck with iPad. Didn’t even fall off the wall during transport. Great purchase.

We have metal cabinets and this is a must have for the serious cook; the iPad can be moved around the kitchen at whatever level and does not scratch the metal cabinets highly recommended
