I love this case and think it is great for users with the type cover despite a few bad reviews about keyboard compatibility. I dropped Surface Pro 7 a few times due to design flaws regarding the magnetic attachment of the device and the type cover. To me, it's too loose and easily detached without doing it intentionally. If that happens on the table, the tablet flips back and falls to the ground. My Surface screen cracked twice and I already maxed out my Microsoft Complete coverage. Now I cannot afford another accident like that and chose this case to protect Surface. I am very happy with my choice and along with the protective screen, I feel that my Surface will survive another accident. What I like best is the weight that reinforces the hinge between the tablet and the type cover. It now feels more like a regular laptop. Much more secured and grounded. That alone will prevent another fall/accident.

If you never used one of their cases I strongly recommend that you find one for your current phone blows away absolutely any OtterBox or knock off for whatever phone or tablet you have I have one for it a 12-in iPad for my Samsung phone and my wife's and all of them are just super light super durable much less bulky than an OtterBox I just can't say enough this company is above and beyond any other protective cover company out there and their prices are more reasonable than anyone else's trust me you will not be disappointed their customer service is wonderful one time years ago they sent the wrong case through eBay store and I contacted them and they overnighted the correct case to me and told me just give the other one to someone who can use it more companies need to follow the way that this one functions and with such great quality of a product I guess it makes it easier cuz they're not selling junk.

For anyone looking at this with the Surface Pro 6 in mind, there is now a headphone opening so you will be able to plug them in without needing to drill a hole or anything into the case.I agree with on reviewer that the stand seems a bit cheap, but overall it seems to do its job. It holds the surface at a good angle for me to type and just generally use.I’ll admit, I really like the pen holder that this case has. It’s nice and sturdy, and I don’t feel like the pen will fall out or get lost in my backpack.The case makes the tablet really easy to carry, has some good spots to place your fingers, and it’s not slippery despite the back being mostly plasticy.All in all, I’m very pleased.

I love this case so much, I purchased on for each surface in the house. I like it because it give a grip for the Surface Pro without being bulky. It has a raised bevel around the case for those face down drops. It's not large, but again, something to grab for support. The included Pen holder is great unless you don't have one. I always know where my Surface Pen is.It doesn't interfere with the display, speaker, or fu\functionality. The only bad thing is if you have an additional Micro SD card, you have to remove the case to access it ... Not a huge issue.So, we are now to the bad! The only complaint I have with the case is the support stand ......... The support stand sucks as it is only adjustable to 3 settings. Back, twice as back, and all the way back!! I wish it was adjustable to the setting you wanted. Since we are talking about the stand, it is difficult to use on your lap, as the support stand isn't the same width as the case (Pictures included). Due to this design, I must endure the sharp edge pressing into my legs, and possible poking myself if it slides a little, or if I open my legs a bit. Again, these are not deal breakers, just personal annoyances.If i had to buy again I would!P.S. the case doesn't interfere with the Screen Protector I put on it.

Heavy duty nice case

I haven't dropped my surface yet to test that, but it fits nice and snug. Looks like it would survive a decent drop. The stand is nice and solid. It clicks in position well and all the buttons are easily accessible.

I like this case. I’ve had my surface pro for going on 2 years now. The case has protected my computer from cracks, dents, or any other possible damage imaginable due to drops or falls.The most annoying thing about this case is the piece in the back that holds the computer up. It’s not sturdy, and it often collapses with a very loud noise that’s unsettling to a quiet classroom. I can’t count how many times i’ve received dirty looks and glares because of it.It’s so inconvenient that I’m looking to buy an equally protective case with a sturdier support stand. Very annoying when I’m trying to do work and the darn thing collapses. At this point if anything messes up my computer, it’ll be the very thing that’s meant to protect it.Other than that, it’s a good protective case.
