The media could not be loaded. I went back and forth about whether or not to get this for so long and I didn’t have to because it is exactly what I needed to create the perfect fountain for me! Once I found the perfect vessel (12 inches in diameter) and chose this spout, we put stones in the bowl, filled it with distilled water and a couple of drops of EasyCare FounTec Algaecide and Clarifier and we were in business!The fountain has been running non-stop for over 2 months with no problems at all. I am so pleased with the quality of this spout and how beautiful it makes my fountain!

I really like the look of this zen fountain BUT there is a problem where the tube connects to the bamboo. This is the second one that has done this (I contacted the seller the first time and he sent me another one). The exact same thing happened to the second one in even less time! I think it’s only been a couple months since I started using this one. I didn’t touch it at all until recently I needed to clean out the algae in the tubing and it broke off where it was attached to the bamboo because whatever metal they are using just disintegrates! It’s too bad because it’s really a cool fountain you can put over a lot of containers and turn them into a fountain.

This little bamboo fountain looks really nice on our deck, and makes a beautiful trickling water sounds. However, since it is not attached to the bowl, it is easily displaced. We recently found that the wind had blown it off the bowl, and the pump was pumping air instead of water. it’s a cute idea, but best to find a way to attach it to the bowl.

The media could not be loaded. I love water features. However, the sound can either soothe me or irritate me if it’s too loud. This was cost effective, and most importantly I could control the outcome and tailor the ambiance to my liking. Plus it was fun finding things around my house to put it all together.The bamboo is solid and put together well. It could have looked very cheap and low budget but thankfully it doesn’t. The hose fits tight around the fittings. The motor is so quiet. You do not hear it there no humming or noise coming from it. That I love.It’s worth the money of this is a route your looking to take.
