Correct tools
This review will be updated if and when there is some data on the new battery regarding longevity and capacity. It arrived at 62,% charge and after being installed in my R760 and 3 hours on the oem charger ,read 100%. The installation was relatively easy because the tools packed with the batter were of decent quality and were absolutely correct for the case "y" head screws and the motherboard Phillips screws. The plastic spudger and guitar picks were generic and worked. The metal opening tool was too thick and I opened the case using ,initially , a very thin knife blade. A review of youtube installation videos and the package insert instructions made the battery replacement manageable. So far the battery is performing well and it looks like I'll get a least 2 days use without recharge. This is with having fairly continuous drain with always on background wifi and Bluetooth but screen ( mostly) off. The oem battery lasted 4 years with nightly full charging. This time I'll try the charge to 80% discharge to 20% protocol. ( note: my old battery was swollen) Watch works like new and despite an hour without power ( despite bad battery , I kept the watch on the charger - continous green lite) all the settings ,wifi password, etc. were preserved. If I get more than a year on this new battery, I'm happy and will not downgrade the 5 star rating.Update: Got 4 days i.e. 96 hours down to 9% when I recharged. 3+ hours and green light and 100%.

A Micro-surgical Transplant Success!
I will give this product and my S3 both 5 stars! But please read on...I really like my Samsung S3, I wear it almost everyday and everywhere I go. Some of my favorite features include music control, heart-rate monitoring, the altimeter and seeing messages real-time without ever touching my phone. So my S3 Frontier is ~30 months old now and battery life was down to about 6 hours on a good day. After some quick searches I came to the conclusion it was time for a new battery.I ordered this battery kit, since it looked like a pretty good deal: a new battery and tools to open my watch. However, be warned that your S3 is not a consumer-serviceable product. I have good eyes, steady hands and consider myself above-average technically inclined. I've burrowed deep into my Jeep engine to replace an oil-pressure switch, installed a transfer switch to my house's electrical supply and I've pieced together many computers. All child's play compared to swapping out batteries for this watch. I thought I was going to destroy my watch during the process of replacing the battery. The instructions (and available YouTube videos) are a great start, but downplay the challenge. The screws are hard to turn without stripping the heads. The tiny FPC (Flexible Printed Circuit) cables are almost impossible to work with. And the threat of ESD damage to your watch is daunting while performing the transplant.Yes, I managed to do it. I powered the watch up briefly before reassembling everything, since I was worried I damaged or miss-aligned one of the micro FPC cables. Success! And I closed the patient back up. My battery life is now showing about 60 hours. I'm a happy camper. If you are still planning to proceed, wear an ESD strap, remove dirt build-up from in the screw heads. Take close-ups of how the battery is attached, before removing it. Pay attention to how the FPC cables are attached and aligned. If your 1.5 triangular tool starts slipping (like mine did after loosing the first two screws), grind a millimeter off the tip and it will grab again. Take your time, some steps (like taking the back cover off) will take more force than you think, but it can be done.

The Seller Is Selling An Aged Battery At Best
I am updating my review to give oGoDeal the benefit of the doubt and upgrading my battery kit rating from 2-Stars to 4-Stars. My Galaxy Gear S3 battery troubles started earlier this past summer about the time I got a a watch Weather widget and Bixby updates. Just a few weeks ago, a further Weather widget update came through for the watch that seemed to improve the oGoDeal battery run time on a full charge to the range of 60 to 64 hours (still short of the original Samsung battery when new). So perhaps part of my battery problem is not-so-great Samsung updates for an aging watch that's fading into obsolescence.Original Review: Brick-and-mortar stores would not stay in business long if they put bad merchandise on their shelves with the good and just let the customers take a chance on getting something decent, willy-nilly. Online stores need to do better at protecting the customer from not-so-good merchandise.I'm not returning the oGoDeal battery has I got something out of it - a lousy battery that is not too much better than the original Samsung battery it replaced. But I also got the tools and a lesson in how to take my Galaxy Gear S3 Frontier watch apart and replace the battery. Now all I need is to have Amazon come up will a seller who actually sells a brand new factory fresh battery rather than one that has aged God knows how long on the shelf. In all fairness my watch is 3 years old - but either way, whether Samsung makes an expensive $350 watch that can't last 3 years or oGoDeal sells over-the-hill batteries, I'm not happy with how the oGoDeal battery works/doesn't work in my watch. Whereas my original Samsung watch battery for most of its 3rd year while in airplane mode with touch-to-wake the watch setting, it would say I had 68 hours of battery life on a full charge with my "brand new" oGoDeal battery, I'm lucky if the watch says that I have 56 hours of battery on a full charge.I also had some questions about the battery, tried to contact oGoDeal using the e-mail in the package insert and have gotten no reply several weeks after submitting my questions.
