Excellent quality, well engineered and looks very nice on the car

Well made and looks great, the bolt is far too long and needed to be cut down.

Item arrived well packaged and quickly. The badge seems of excellent quality - well finished with the correct red colour of the OEM stickers on a Cooper S. Fitted very easily through the front grill of my 2014 Cooper SD All4 Countryman - this has the older 2 litre diesel engine with a compact radiator behind the grill allowing plenty of space for the long bolt to go through and easy access to tighten the bolt on the metal holding strip behind the grill. Few things that might be helpful. The bolt screws onto the back for the badge so I also superglued it into place as it doesn't a have very deep screw. Also as others have mentioned the medal holding strip is silvered so I painted one side with hammerite black so it can't been seen through the grill once the badge is on. Overall excellent - the quality and ease of fit definitely exceeded my expectations.

Seemed like a good idea at the time but quickly realised I couldn’t get behind my grill to do the nut up. The thread was stupidly long and the nut wasn’t even a nylock nut so is bound to work loose without thread lock or something. The Red S looks good, didn’t fit to car so can’t comment on durability.

The badge finish wasn't the best, poorly chromed. However not really noticeable when installed. Tbh for the money the badge is spot on. My badge came with two threads rather than the one shown.
