You're getting half what you pay for
Though this a great eyeliner, you are getting half the product that you are paying for. I have emailed Bobbi Brown for months (undeliverable each time), called customer service (told me to email), and tagged them on countless social media sites. I am currently looking for another eyeliner given this seems to be a "scam" by how they produce their product mechanism.
