Helped train my new dog with no trouble at all!
My rescue was 14 months when he was new to our home, so we were starting with a quite excitable 55-pound mostly-puppy. He is very friendly and curious, but also sometimes overly eager to play. "Mouthy" is the word I would use, whether that was chewing things that weren't intended to be chewed or wanting to gently tooth (not bite) our arms, hands, and ears. After two or three uses of this collar with just the beep (not even vibration, much less shock) for any given unwanted behavior, and that behavior is TRULY a thin of the past. Absolutely amazing response and effectiveness, honestly beyond even my best hope, much less expectations. After three or four weeks of use for various things he doesn't have to wear it at home - it only goes on if we take him to friends' homes to visit. The ONLY improvement I might suggest, and it is small, is that the function of the remote's buttons are not easy to see if you're in a dimly lit area. There are only three, so it's really not a big deal - I had only used it once before sitting in the living room with the lights off and had to click about a bit before I got it right the second time.

Not really waterproof
This Brison dog training collar is decent but has some flaws. First off, it is not really waterproof. It appears the small rubber seal around the charging port fell off and when our dog went into the sprinklers water got into the unit and it is done. Second flaw, it is difficult to select the buttons on the remote in the dark or when the unit is in your pocket. All the buttons are smooth and near to each other, making it difficult to differentiate between then without looking. Third flaw, I could not find extending prongs/probes after I purchased it. Our Golden has a thick mane of hair and we need long probes but could not find them to match the size and thread pattern, so we had to make it very tight on his neck to get a connection.

Didn't take long for our dog to catch on....
Our doodle figured it out within just a few days. And by that I mean she figured out that we were in charge of what was going on! They say to not let your dog see you with the remote or know that you're in charge of it...it needs to be a mystery of where the correction is coming from. That way they don't connect you to the correction and they're more likely to obey if it's random and mysterious. We only use the beep and vibrate. The beep will cause her to pause what she's doing but she does it again five minutes later. The vibrate causes her to really stop and think! However, again, she'll do it again five minutes later. Two weeks of this have yet to form anything permanent in her little brain.I'd say the main improvement they can make are on the remote. The buttons are so smooth and flush with the casing that you have to actually look at the remote to make sure you're hitting the right one...which then cues to the dog that you're about to do something. Our dog sniffed the remote out and now knows when I have it, which takes away the element of surprise and makes me the bad guy...defeating what the training says to do.We'll keep working on it. I have hopes that it will leave a lasting impression at some point. But as of now....our 1o month old doodle kind of thinks it's a game. LOL

Perfectly Versatile
We have these for both of our dogs. We use the sound as a warning and the vibrate setting next. Our dogs usually respond well to the vibrate. Our smaller dog (~30lb) has the older version and we liked it enough to get one for our bigger, better behaved dog, too (she's ~45lb). Both collars are tuned in to the new controller, which is nice to have both on one and the new controller is better than the old. We easily trimmed the collars to fit both girls without a bunch of excess collar. The collar will beep outside even when the remote is inside our brick house, and that really good signal has come in handy. For the price, considering competing collars are far more expensive, we have been blown away.

Use as Dog Jewelry only. Not intended for training purposes
Do not buy. This budget option looks good online and at opening of package. When tested you could end up like Buck and I after one day of use. Buck: Happy and still doing whatever the hell he wants. Me: pissed off at the fact that got what I paid for and pissed at Buck. It literally died and blacked out after 1 day of use. Couldn’t charge, couldn’t turn the thing on. Don’t buy. I was refunded and bought a bury type perimeter wire fence with a controller for general training as well. It cost way more money but, it is worth it for me if Buck’s life depends on it. The brand I chose was Sport Dog Brand. Look forward to getting it all set up and getting this guy dialed in. They definitely need to take water proof out of the description. It is a blatant lie.

Trainer collar
Not had long enough to know about battery life so for great collar is lighter than my first collar 1/3 price easy to set up and operate good signal on sound not checked distance yet will over time. Dog was trained on sports dog collar also great collar. Like the collar reflective strip like the weight of the collar easy to turn on light lets you know that it is on. Remote has a good feel in your hand when you touch any control it turns on the next press of button will send signal. Only had to use the sound to this point. Like it so far.Would recommend.

Dangerous and Faulty
Had many issues with this product before it COMPLETELY STOPPED WORKING!After only a few weeks!DANGER: We were wondering why our pup wouldn’t respond to the collar sometimes (that is not like him) and it turned out that it was a faulty product that was only working sometimes! The battery sometimes wouldn’t charge. Certain buttons wouldn’t work, AND THEN it stopped working all together after only a few weeks. It is made cheap. We have a golden doodle, so it’s not like we put a lot of wear and tear on it, we always kept it in a safe location when not in use.Since the package took so long to arrive, it was already outside of the return window.
