Would've Been Great
I really liked this backpack. I had bought an extremely expensive backpack that had tons of awesome features, but was just way to big for me. I'm a 5'4" woman and those backpacks were definitely made for men. So I started looking for the closest thing that I could get in a smaller bag. The padded waist strap was very important to really help take weight off the shoulders. I liked this bag....a lot. I had it well packed but not bursting from the seams by any means. I could easily carry it. And I took it on two whole trips....to my vehicle and back. It's my emergency preparedness bag. I have 5 kids and who knows what might happen on a trip. So it's stocked with snack food, a first aid kit, etc. I literally took it to my car, went wherever we were going, came home, carried it back in the house. I did that twice. And then I noticed that one of the shoulder straps was well on it's way to detaching. The top layer of fabric was completely frayed and pulled away from the body of the backpack. This is not acceptable for a bag that isn't over-packed and has been carried for less than 10 total minutes...maybe just 5. So even though I liked this bag, I'm definitely sending it back. I'm almost tempted to re-order in case I just got a dud...but don't think I will.

Quite large for 35L
This backpack is amazing! Quality construction, amazing compartmentalization and comfortable to wear. I have my pack stuffed with 50 pounds of stuff and this pack as barely noticable on my back. I love the side pockets not as big as you think but each can easily fit a cell phone with headphones and charging equipment, or a couple of spare pistol magazines. The compression straps are well contructed but cause an inconvenience if you have to get into the main compartments they are great when you don't want your stuff ratteling around. Overall great pack for camping, hiking or bugout alittle much for everyday use though.

3-day Tactical Pack is versatile.
I truly love this 3-day tactical pack. It has an insulated compartment that is accessed from the outside. It holds a 2.5 liters water bladder perfectly. It has two large compartments that hold a 4 days of food, cooking utensils, 4 days of tee shirts, socks, underwear, toiletries, hammock, tarp, hammock straps, and a solar charger. Combined with the two outer compartments, it will hold all the rest of your gear. There is room on the exterior for a tent, sleeping bag, mat, walking poles, a hatchet, saw, and large knife. The hip pads are great with large pockets. The chest straps are fully adjustable. I even added a trauma kit via the molle webbing. Did I forget the camp stoves? They're in there, too.

Great backpack, great price. Took all across Egypt.
This is a great back pack.If you're a bigger guy, 6'2" 325lbs this belt fit around my waist with room to spare. There are plenty of compartments. Zip po er have held up great. The insulated compartment is very good. The small compartment on top is good for wallet, passport and phone. There are shoulder strap rings and clips for your water camel (bladder). Several inner compartments for pens, maps, passports or wallets. Space to use as a carry bag with the side sinches let all the way out.I have a battery with a belt clip on it and I clipped it into the hole for the water bag and got a 8 foot phone cord and never needed a charge and never had a dead phone all through my trip to Egypt. Also the bag will sinch down very thin with all the tie downs.Shoulder straps are comfortable to wear over one shoulder or the correct way.I can't say enough good things about this backpack its, great. Oh and of course, the price is better than every other one I've seen. I got a $9 bladder to add to this. Not the one Amazon recommended I didn't luks the way the water comes out on that one. See my reviews to see that one.***I got no discount nor am I affiliated with this company.**

Time to Ruck
Came in one day NICE. I will report after my event (if review needs changing) , but purchased for a 14 hour endurance event. After others reviews went with this bag since it Needs to be strong enough to hold around 35 lbs of gear inside. Hoping will hold as it feels strong and buff. First bag I got (diff one) broke in 1 week. Plastic clips don't seem to last well under weight. Hope this one has stronger plastic connectors.Feels comfy for how heavy it is. I am a small gal so was hoping not too wide with the strap areas. 5'3" and 130 lbs female for your sizing comparisons.Pluses:1. Strapping is amazing, lots of connection areas.2. The adjusting areas are many so you can customize your fit.3. Hydration specific area, with hose hole.4. So far love the pockets and the hip front easy access pockets.5. The molle strapping is way cool to hook carabiners and such to.Some things that are tricky so far - or negatives:1. Packing the hydration area. The insulation seems good as an idea, but it is sticky so getting a 2L bag into the area takes patience. 2. Smell - the chemical smell was strong. I know the canvas is probably treated with something, but it is a strange petroleum smell.3. Would like rear reflective piping for dark or night visibility.Off to gear up and report back if this bag helps my success on this endurance event.
