First Book Of Nature

Reading this book truly makes me remember the magical way that a child views the world. It's also illustrated beautifully. It's the perfect book to sit on our seasonal nature table. I can also see it being useful in prompting us to explore certain topics more in depth as we move throughout the seasons. There's even a couple lovely little "poems" about activities like "pond dipping" or building a den like the animals that really inspire me to get everyone outside to explore.

The FIRST BOOK OF NAURE is fabulous in every way! The text and illustrations are perfect for teaching children about nature and getting them excited to learn more at the same time! It is a large hardback book! Well worth the cost!!!

This is basically the same story as" Outside Your Window" with a different cover. It's really lovely.
