Carhartt Women's El Paso Utility Vest

Love that this has the tie for above the waist to minimize the boxy look that these type of vests can have. Pockets are great and located in all the right places. It does have a chest pocket that my iphone6+ can fit in. The slant hand pockets are basically useless and could be removed in my opinion, but someone else may find them useful. They are smallish and many items would have tendency to slip out. The other pockets, however are great. The material is light weight but durable with mesh and some vents to help keep you from getting too warm. It is great for layering and nice enough to wear to dinner. All the guys were impressed with it when I wore it out with boots and jeans. I have used it at work as it held pens and penlight that I use and I could keep phone in upper chest pocket. It was better than my lab coat that I use everyday. I would definitely recommend it.

The quality is good but the sizing is way off. I expected it to run a little bit large (according to the reviews), but it turned out to be too large for me. I'm 5'4 and ~120 pounds, and small feels like XL.

It was just what I was looking for and at a good price. I ordered a small which it was, but ran a little large for me, but will work out fine. The drawstring at the waist is great for adjusting the size. Not many companies provide this style of vest for women so I do appreciate it very much. It will be great for nature walks, birding, etc. where a field guild and other items are nice to be able to carry along without the need for a separate bag.

I wear this working outside. Plenty of pockets for small items. Well made, durable and washes well. Excellent investment.
