Does a great job!

My hair keeps getting caught in that part. This iron give me beautiful, silky hair and I think the ability to hold both ends of the iron had something to do with that.Unfortunately, that positive attribute is also a negative for me. My hair kept getting caught in the front part of the iron where the cool tip/plastic part ends and the iron begins.I kept using it because I loved how it smoothed my hair so nicely but unfortunately, I paid the price for doing so because I have a great deal of breakage around my hairline from it getting caught. I'm totally bummed bc otherwise, this iron is amazing.I would give it 2 stars for the, in my humble opinion and experience, poor iron design and 5 stars for the results achieved when flat ironing my hair.

This flat iron is the best I have ever used. My hair is so smooth and soft after using it. It is made so well. This is my second one. My first one lasted over 2 years! I highly recommend it!

I was excited to receive this flat iron because mine was long overdue for a replacement. I use my old flat iron at 285F. It doesn't take my hair much effort to curl or straighten. With this flat iron I have it cranked to 350F and it still takes a few passes sometimes. It's very inconsistent with it's heating. I also found that I've pinched my hand in the back end quite a few times with how I've held it; because the back end opens up it's very easy to pinch your hand when you're closing the iron. Lastly, when the iron is turned off, the light on it flashes white and blue unless you completely unplug it from the wall. Definitely not worth the $99 price tag in my opinion. I honestly don't think the value is there.

When my daughter’s “flatiron” failed, we needed a new one fast - and this titanium iron really makes a difference from the old one! A much appreciated feature is the cool tip - the old one didn’t have one. The cool tip makes it possible to really guide the iron and get a smoother result. If you have long, curly hair and want to straighten it, you’ll love this flat iron.
