LLC, Pre de Provence, Bar Soap, Linden, 5.2 oz (150 g) - European Soaps

I love linden scented soaps and this soap has a beautiful strong linden scent with a good bit of bubble, lasts a long time too.

"Pre de Provence Savon français enrichi au beurre de karité (150 g) – tilleul" Doux, parfum discret de tilleul, hydratante, tout qu'il faut pour un savon de très bonne qualité. Fabriqué d'après des méthodes traditionnelles. Le seul inconvénient: le prix, c'est un des plus chers savons parmi ceux qui m'ont attiré l'attention sur Amazon. Mais finalement c'est un produit de luxe, donc achetez-le 😊 Soft, discreet scent of linden, moisturizing, everything you need for a very good quality soap. Made using traditional methods. The only downside: the price, it's one of the most expensive soaps that caught my eye on Amazon. But ultimately, it's a luxury product, so buy it 😊

I purchased two bars of this soap. It’s expensive; however the size of this soap is 5.3 oz., feels good in your hand, and it’s slow to dissolve/melt. The color is a lemony yellow. I wasn’t sure what Linden would smell like. It’s a pleasant floral and has (to my nose) a sharp under note. I think that this fragrance could work well in women’s AND men’s products. I am currently using one bar, and plan to give the other as a gift.

I took a shower with it last night and when I got up this morning the bathroom smelled just like it: sweet honey with a hint of fruit. That's how it smells to me, as I had never smelled linden before. :-) But don't worry, the fragrance isn't strong. It's soft and delicious. Didn't stay on my skin very long after I got out of the shower. I didn't find notice anything regarding skin moisture, but I've only used it once, so I'll update this review if I notice anything worth mentioning. The only negative is the price, it's a little expensive, but it's a big bar. Also it came in clear plastic with no tags or labels, I wish it came in paper or a small thin cardboard box of some kind.

This is the best smelling soap I have ever used.

I got this because a European friend told me how much she liked the scent of Linden trees. I'd never smelled one, so thought I'd try this. Wow - I am so impressed. The scent is very pure and strong (in a good way) and it doesn't have any of the musky undertones so many soaps described as floral have nowadays. To my nose, those ruin the scent - I want flowers and nothing else! The bar seems very well made - French milled soaps are typically very long-lasting and I have a hunch this one will be too. I am going to order some other fragrances.
