Always amazing quality and consistent hay cut. The only hay my pig will eat

my guinea pig loves the hay from this company compared to the other brands like Katee or something like that. this hay is soft, a lot of soft leaves, not much stem. the guinea pigs mainly eat the leaves. they won't eat the stems when i buy the hay from the Katee brand, which wasted a lot of money. however, i get every scent worth it when buying the hay from this company, the Americanpet. the hay here is greener than the other brands as well. also great price compared to the Hay Select brand. I am happy with this purchase, great price, great hay, and not overpriced. i am happy that Americanpet produces this hay. I don't have any problem with plastic strings like in the previous reviews by other buyers. this hay is soft, green, for less than $5 I get 24 oz. i wish they would make a 5 lb bag or 10 lb bag size so that I won't have to reorder often. that is my only concern.

This was such a great find for my piggies. You can see they liked this one better than thebother brand i had used. Its soft abd weve had NO hay poke insidents. I have buying bags faithfully for a couple years. Upon opening the bag it smells so good in comparison to other brands. I am sad to see the subscribe and save options unavailable anymore. Honestly I DO NOT want to buy any other brand and am saddened I might have to switch (I really need the reoccurring deliveries) I'll shop around on other platforms for this brand who hopefully can do reoccurring delivery.

I have the American Pet Diner 140 Timothy Gold Hay 24-ounce bags on auto-order. It's sort-of a treat hay for my beautiful rabbit, who just turned 13! I get large boxes of Oxbow for her, because bulk is much cheaper. But Oxbow quality has been unpredictable. I use this small American Pet Diner to top off the Oxbow now and then. It hasn't disappointed yet.

Last night I realized my rabbits weren’t eating their hay. I’ve been using Small Pet Select, which I thought had great hay, but what do I know about the taste of hay. They were eating it, I had 2nd cut Timothy and would mix in some orchard. When I realize they weren’t eating the hay it was too late to go to the store and I had to work the next morning. Thank goodness for Amazon’s overnight delivery. I tried this and it was at my house by 6am. I put it out for them and they started demolishing it. I left a big pile of this next to the other hay and when I got home from work, this hay was all gone. I give it four stars because it is so soft compared to the small pet select hay, almost like it is the 3rd cutting when they said it is second. My concern of course is with the teeth And ensuring they get worn down with this. They do have “high fiber” hay which apparently is the first cut, so I am going to try that and mix them. We’ll see. In addition, the value of money, it’s amazon, it’s convenient, what more can you say? However if you buy the larger amount it is much cheaper at the pet store. Lastly, I did mention the texture being softer, it also is much smaller pieces of hay than small pet select. So I think it is more easily managed by the buns cause it’s more their size? Who knows. Overall, I will be buying this again for my rabbits. Update: November 29, 2020- my buns had their every 6 month check up. The vet said their teeth are starting to get points on them and for me to reduce pellets and increase hay. I don’t think I give too many pellets, so I’m thinking it’s the softness of the hay? I’ll be mixing this with other types of hay for a while, or remove it altogether after a while, then see what happens in 6 months. I hoping they eat the other hay since they love this so much.

I’ve been really please with this. My bunnies love it! They munch on it all day. I have two 10 week old bunnies (Holland Lops) and one bag lasts me a little over a week with two separate feeding stations! I refill and reflux the hay once a day to make sure the entire Ikea Plastic Bag Holder is always full. The price is right for me (I have the subscription and get 5 every 5 weeks @ $5.19 a bag). It’s cheaper than the Timothy hay at any pet stores near me, so it works perfectly. I put it in the Ikea plastic bag holder so that it lasts longer - they don’t pee/poop in it so that helps the hay to last so much lingers than just having it in a litter box where they soil it often. I love the set up! Really I have no complaints. I did not notice any excessive dust/small pieces like people mentioned. Also, it came in the bag shown in the product pictures.

This is a very good product. It is the only timothy hay that my 11 1/2 year old Holland lop will eat and I’ve tried lots of other brands over the years. The price I pay is the same as I pay for it at the pet supply store.

初めて飼ったうさぎ(ミニレッキス)に色々なチモシーを与えたところ、このチモシーがお気に入りのようでバクバク食べていました。2袋目も購入し合うチモシーが見つかって良かったなと思っていましたが、検診の際専門の獣医師さんに、1番刈りに変えるようアドバイスを受け別の物に変えました。すぐ慣れて今は難なく食べています。1週間もしない内にうんちも大きくなり、1番刈りに変えた変化はあるようです。1〜3番刈りの順でうんちが大〜小になるのかすら分かりませんが、喜んで食べる=うさぎに良いでは無い事の学びになりました。このチモシーへの批判ではありません。他がある中こればかり食べていたのでうさぎ的には美味しいのでしょう。

チモシーをあまり食べたがらないうちのうさぎちゃんを魅了した悪魔のチモシーです。これを食べると他の牧草を食べなくなるといういわくつきのチモシーに手を出してしまいました笑 開けた瞬間から食いついたチモシーは初めてでちょっと感動！！チモシー嫌いと思っていたのが嘘のようにもりもり食べてます。他に比べると高価ですが出会えてよかったです！！！ 色々な種類・メーカーの牧草と食べ比べしてますが、ウーリー高原の朝採り牧草に続くダントツトップの食いつきで★5個以上！ という絶賛の口コミをしようと思ったら、他の方の口コミ写真が目に入り…「ん？これ、私のにもいくつか入ってたよ？えっ！●●●だったの？！何かの実だと思って触ってしまったよ！！」と、がっかり…でもまぁ、よく食べるし代替品にしたところで取り除かれているかどうか程度の違いだしなと気にしないことに。といっても、気分は良くないので次は当たらないように祈ります。 ---追記--- ロットによる食いつきの差が激しい商品でした。お気をつけ下さい。 食いつきが良かったのは、茶葉は多いですが柔らかい葉の多いロット。青々としているけれど茎の多い1番刈りに近い見た目のロットは全く食べませんでした… 「こころのおうちさん」などのうさぎ専門店のサイトで、ロットによる牧草の状態についてはお知らせしてくれていますので、参考になさってから購入してください。
