Fisher-Price Octonauts Gup-e and Peso

Amazon had this at a great price, so this was the perfect little "no accidents during the night" prize for my potty training, Octonaut-crazed little boy. He loves opening and closing hatching like all of the gups have, and this one has two to open and shut! Also, if you have the full Fisher Price Octonaut action figure pack like we do, it's nice to find that the Peso that is included in this set is slightly different than the other one and isn't a complete duplicate character like many of the others are. The gup has a slot on top between the two hatches that can hold the net when it isn't attached t the front of the gup. It holds it very well nice and tight, so I'm sure this piece won't be easily lost. All three of my boys (5, 4, and 3) are playing with this gup as I type this. Good toy, especially if you have a collection of other Octonaut toys to play with.

The Gups are such great toys. I was going to give this to my son for his birthday, but when he had show and share day at preschool and needed something green or starting with a P, I just couldn't resist giving him this green Gup with Peso the Penguin as a special surprise. He LOVES it. It's neat that it is designed to sink in the water like a submarine. This one doesn't seem to squirt water like our other ones, but that's no problem. He plays with them out of the bath more than in it anymore because he plays with them ALL THE TIME. Love these toys. Its nice that you can put the fish in the Gup so they don't get lost during play. The accessories with the other Gups make extra things to keep track of so he usually doesn't play with the bonus creatures outside of the tub. I even bought a spare and we gave it as a birthday gift to a friend turning 5. He was excited to get it as well.

Great gift for 3-5 yo boys. They absolutely love this!! It’s gone everywhere with them for weeks. Unfortunately, the hatches (esp. front one) tend to fall off with the little ones’ lack of fine motor skills, but they snap back in easily. The net isn’t super secure when attached to the front, but it snaps into the body center securely. My kids LOVE it! And it can also go in the bath ... dries out completely.

This was bought as part of a large number of Octonaut toys. The kids love them, and the fact that they are bath friendly only makes sense given the theme. These are a kid safe rubber and plastic combination. There are small pieces so those who eat everything may need supervised, but it is essentially kid friendly. Some even have hidden functions, so be careful! I got squirted in the face with an orange shark, and saw one start moving on it's own (yet there are no batteries, so this must be wind up somehow). I am beginning to suspect that each has their own hidden ability. They are nothing fancy, but getting sprayed during bath time with a toy you thought was safe....well, kids love the shocked expressions.

This is cool. It is one of the Gups that are common in the show and therefore a must have. Comes with some cute little fish, and let’s not forget Peso! Wish it had more accessories for Peso like some of the other sets though, but it does have a neat “gimmick” for the Gup. The Gup’s gimmick is a neat feature where you can take the basket that is stored in the middle of the Gup, and put it in the front of the Gup to “help” hold “injured” fish. This is neat because it adds to playability. It is super sturdy and has held up to some less than gentle play while also being used in water. It is a great toy, and a must have for fans of Octonauts.

This is a simple and effective toy. My son who fights at bath time without this toy becomes much more willing to participate. We had other water toys that make sounds or that does silly things, and they did not work. This thing does nothing except take in water into the ballasts and lets it out when you life the sub above the water. That was perfect. Simple and effective. Plus it's a great price. We got it for less than $6 on Amazon.

Everyone wants $45 for this toy or more because it is so hard to get. They must have released it a while ago before Octonauts was big in the USA and then stopped producing them. Normally this toy is $19.99 but I had to have it for my daughter because it was the only one we were missing. Its going to be her favorite. Is just as described and came new in the box. Also shipping stated it was going to take almost two months to get to us and it took about 2/3 weeks. We love it =)

Well made product! Has great functionality for use in and out of water. Scoop is stored in the Gup-E and can then attach to the front of it to collect the fish, Gup-E then sinks to the bottom and when you open the hatch it releases the fish so you can collect them again. My daughters love it and fight all the time over who gets to play with it in the bath!

Awesome Peso toy. Good value for this Octonaut.

Mi hijo lo tiene desde hace 2 años. Se lo regalamos con 2 años. Esta GUP ha pasado numerosas aventuras (piscina, parque, bañera, etc) y sigue intacta. Le encanta y le encanta compartirla y explicar que si se sumerge y tiene una camilla secreta para los peces enfermos. A pesar de que es un poco caro creo que lo vale. Tenemos esta GUP y la del Kwazii,y volvería a comprar las 2. Un buen complemente es el OCTOMODULO. Garantizan muuuuchas horas de juego divertido.

Il Gup-E è sicuramente costoso, come tutti gli Octonauti, ma devo dire che vale i suoi soldi. Il vetro davanti esce con una certa facilità, ma rimontandolo da aperto non ci sono problemi per riassemblarlo. Peso (il dottore) è sempre l'Octonauta più carino, beniamino dei bambini. Ottimo per il bagno, non teme in alcun modo l'acqua. Occhio ai tre pescetti facilmente smarribili.
