My roommate picked this ashtray up because she was tired of seeing diet coke cans filled with cigarettes. I know, gross. The ceramic has a really solid, well-made feel to it, and the glazed finish gives it that classic, almost handmade look. This is helpful as it doesn't really look like an ashtray and it hides all of the ashes. Hence, the lid is a big plus. It keeps the ash contained and helps cut down on the smell, which makes a noticeable difference. It’s also deep enough to hold a good amount, so you’re not constantly emptying it. The bottom doesn’t slide around either, so it stays put on the table. I like the little grooves around the edge — they’re smooth and the right size to rest a cigarette without it rolling or feeling awkward. Everything about it feels thought out and easy to use. It's a good spot to rest your cigarette while you have to run inside to get a drink of something. It’s a bit smaller than it looks in photos, but honestly that worked out fine for me since it doesn’t take up much space. It arrived really well packed too, which I appreciated. Overall, it feels sturdy, looks good, and does exactly what it’s supposed to. If you want an ashtray that’s practical but doesn’t look cheap, this one’s a solid option.

I was looking for a ceramic ashtray that was both attractive and practical, and this one checked all the boxes. It’s beautifully designed and on the smaller side, which makes it perfect for a tabletop or patio setting without being obtrusive. One of my favorite features is the center area designed specifically for extinguishing cigarettes before dropping them into the container—super convenient and tidy. Unfortunately, I did drop the lid within the first week, and it shattered. That was entirely my fault, not a flaw in the product. Even without the lid, the ashtray still functions perfectly, and I continue to use it daily. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another one if needed.

This ashtray has been of great service for my husband until I broke it the other day. Years! It sat outside. The top cover was a good add on. Cute design and color, holds plenty of butts, worth the buy!

I really like this ashtray. I wish it was a little bit bigger. However the color shape are pretty. We have it outside by our pool and everybody loves it. I would definitely buy it again.

I braced for the sound of ceramic tragedy and sobbing. What I got was a miracle. Not only did it survive the fall, It BOUNCED. Ricocheted like a cartoon character through patio furniture, did a triple-lutz around a metal table leg, and LANDED upright inside an ornamental curl of wrought iron like it had been training for this moment its entire life. No cracks. No chips. Not even a dramatic wobble. It just sat there, smug as hell, like, “I’m fine, thanks for asking.” If you want an ashtray that can handle ash, judgment, and spontaneous acts of ceramic rebellion—this is the one. Ten out of five stars. Would yeet again.

Replacing some basket weaved ones I’ve had from Amazon for years and was not disappointed by ones I received today. Elegant and look wonderful on my wrought iron black patio table -perfect size for my smoking friends.

Good quality, great colouring and the lid keeps smells at bay

I needed an ashtray to put on my apartment’s balcony as I like to smoke out there occasionally. I’d previously been using a little metal ashtray, but on windy days it’d get blown off the table and scatter butts everywhere. I’d also find that if I left my balcony door open (which I often do for extra ventilation) then sometimes the breeze would carry the smell of the ash inside. This ashtray solves both problems - it’s heavy enough that it won’t blow away, and the lid not only stops it from filling with water in the rain but also keeps butts, ash and the associated smells pretty well contained. On top of that, it’s just a nice looking object that feels solidly made and should last pretty much forever. An excellent purchase!
