In the pa,st several years I've noticed that the thick sox I used to buy have outsourced to South East Asia and are now thin, synthetic, and tight. These are like sox used to be. Thicker, soft, run on the large size as opposed to others being difficult to get on. If you are looking for the way sox were in the "good old days" you found them!

My go to for over 20 years. I've tried other but they don't clean as well. The sponge holds up well. The scrub side stays attached to the sponge.

These cleaning pads. Have been around forever. They get the job done. Best to buy in bulk and reduce e tour per pad price. Good quality.

These sponges come at a bit of a premium but they still beat many of the no-name sponges, in my book, for endurance and performance. I do not use them for countertops - I have swedish disclothes (that can be sanitized) for that purpose. I'm not convinced that a normal dishwasher cycle will sanitize them, as they will still get funky if I don't replace in 7-10 days. Because I use them for *dishes*! What I use for counters has to either be disposable or something I can sanitize in the washer after a day's use.Not sure why they made the shape wave-y now, except maybe to make them different. My grip on the old rectangle type was just fine, as was getting into corners with the rectangle shape. I'm just glad that the sponge part is still "spongey" instead of being made of useless plastic-ky foam.And yes, they arrive faintly damp. I've noticed reviewers commenting unhappily on that, but I do think that the sponge portion would shrivel and might even crack in storage without that moisture, and appearance - for good and bad - is everything. I'm pretty sure the sponges are moistened and then sealed up hygenically. Or at least I've never opened a package that smelled.

I bought these Scotch Brite pad sponges because they hold up better than the cheaper imitations, the scrubby pads are more effective than other brands and the price was cheaper than I could find in any of the stores near me. I only buy these sponges but in this case I bought them on Amazon because it was the least expensive place I could get them.I would recommend buying them here to maximize your value for the money.

These are the only sponges I use & always purchase from Amazon. The scrubby side is especially useful for pots and pans. They last longer than most sponges. I find this shape particularly useful for me since I have arthritic fingers. The price is reasonable. Highly recommend.
