Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint - Xbox One

Easily one of the more underrated games ever to come out, severely misunderstood. I put 200+ hours in GRW, loved every minute of it, beat every boss on three separate occasions. There are a lot of things about GRB that are obviously completely different, playing alone, the loot aspects etc., though after playing the Alpha, Beta and now the full version for the Xbox One X, I've had a great time, awesome. I have not purchased any DLC, just playing the base game, and as of now, I have more equipment, clothing, gear than I could imagine. There's a ton of content in this game, absolutely hundreds of hours of game-play, I do think the X version for some reason much lower image quality than it should be. If I had it to do over, would opt for the PC version instead, though I have had little to no issues with the X version as far as stability. Highly recommended!

Awesome Game!

I have played past Ghost Recons and loved them. This one is good, but I can't say its my favorite. Let me just say, before I get into this, I am not really a big fan of rpg style games. I have played some, but all the micro managing kind of takes a lot of the fun out of it for me when I want to get into the action. The game itself is similar to wildlands with the open world and side missions and main missions, which you can play in whatever order you want. You get the usual selection of weapons, sub machine guns, assault rifles, lmg's...etc. You can still carry 2 and a handgun and a bunch of gadgets. You are still able to put attachments on the weapons to improve them, although it doesn't seem obvious in the stats. So you pretty much have wildlands with the addition of rpg elements which can be cool, but also annoying. For example, they added levels and perks to the weapons. So not all guns of the same type are equal. I could have a dessert eagle and a friend can have the same gun, but his could be a level 3 and mine a level 2...his could have the perk of accuracy increase and mine added reload speed. I find this to be annoying. If I like the gun I am using, just let me level it up. They also have armor which also adds to the equipment score. This I don't mind as much since its just something you put on and only effects you armor and what perks are attached to them. However you still have to put them on and if you need that little extra in a fight...well you will have to wait until you are safe or risk getting shot in your hiding spot. You also have perks that you can make and perks you can get in your encampments which have a time limit on them. They also incorporated a class system. This really only effects your bonuses. For example, as a sniper you can take more time to aim before your guns starts moving. The only down side is when you are trying to level the class up, you are stuck with whatever weapon is for the class, otherwise it will level up slower due to the challenges associated with the class. The biggest flaw in the class system, for me at least, is there is no class for lmg's, which happen to be my weapon of choice. Supposedly they are going to add a class, but how do you not have that at launch? They have also added a sort of find things by hint option, which you can turn off if you don't feel like trying to find a river and look north on your map and south of a base...etc. It pretty much give you landmarks to find missions. It adds a new challenge, but if you don't like it, go old school and switch it off and you'll have your markers. I haven't yet played the pvp or any other part of the game as of yet, but there is plenty to do in the main game not sure I will get to it. Over all, the rpg stuff can be annoying, but the game is still fun.

I was looking forward to this game, but it released to lackluster results. I decided to wait on the game, and found it for $20 here. I figured it was just $20 so I ordered it. As I expected the game is really fun. It's cleaner than Wildlands which I found to be a very clunky shooter, I love the gun customization options, the so called micro transactions are the same as wildlands and not more. The story for me is more interesting than the unbelievable tale of Wildlands which was a laughable story at best, and the gunplay is so much fun. I also enjoy the character classes. The game is better than people say, the always online isn't a problem, and unless you play multiplayer the game does not require xbox gold to play. It's like For Honor and the Division, you only need gold for online ie raids and playing with other players not to play the game itself. As for the graphics they are fine, just slightly better than wildlands. The game has been patched and I'm not experiencing glitches really. And lastly I hated the AI partners in Wildlands, they were a burden and a joke. I'm glad I'm able to play alone with AI teammates. I do wish for more faces and hair for my nomad but that's just minor. So overall it's a 7.5/10 or 5 stars for this review system, its on sale folks pick it up now!

First of all, this is my first Ghost Recon game ever...I think I played Future Soldier on PS3 a whole 5 minutes...this game is NOT easy! Even on easy it’s still very tactical. You have to scout, get a lead on enemies, and do your best to stay hidden until you get enough skill points to start being a one man army. I’m still running away from most gun fights. Invest in a good sniper rifle...you’re gonna need it. But once you’re in the endgame everything really opens up! I’d suggest do all your side missions when you near the endgame. I’ve been trying to do some side quests and they are way harder than the main missions lol I love this game’s complexity and difficulty. It really forces me to slow down and get a gameplan before going loud and starting my run. Always find cover, even behind a big rock. Cuz once they know you’re out there, the AI doesn’t let up. Oh...and beware of Wolves...the special unit designed to literally hunt you down. They can just show up behind you for no reason lol

賛否あるようだけど、前作の戦略のリサーチしてオンライン用に再構築したものじゃないか 故に道場みたいなものに拒否感が出てる部分もあるのかも アップデート繰り返したらしいが現状基本よくできてる。なんか拠点がオンラインなっててプレイヤーがうろうろしてるからコープでワイワイやるならいい感じのバランスなんじゃないか、昔もそんなオンラインモードあったし

I highly recommend playing this with no HUD and no crosshairs, make it as realistic as possible without having to increase it's difficulty for the best experience. Take advantage of the low price and enjoy this small little masterpiece, the low ratings is because it was released too soon and it was broken. People paid $120+ and got very little back in return, I'd be upset as well. I give this game a 8.5 out of 10.
