C8 Metallic Silver 10ml, GSI Mr. Color

I love Mr. Color paints. IMHO they are among the very best model paints available. Be warned though--these are solvent based paints--they stink to high heaven! A fume hood or spraying outside is a must.

Mr Hobby, do they make anything that isn't the best? I love their paints and everything else Mr Hobby. .... where ever you are?

…that sprays well when used with Mr. Leveling Thinner 400. It tends to clot in the airbrush cup if you leave it in there too long while you work, but it’s not a serious problem. Dried fairly quickly. It is my most-used silver.

I ordered this stuff to evaluate it as an alternative to Model Master Metalizers and the prehistoric (but much loved) Testors Chrome Silver. I'll let the photographs speak for themselves. What you see in the photos is H8, thinned with Mr Leveling Thinner, sprayed onto my Tamiya R-2800 engine banks using an Iwata dual action, internal mix airbrush.

Sticks well to plastic - whether AB or had brush. Very thick in jar. Remember to thin well before use. I use Mr. color leveling thinner.
