What a great movie. Way better than the Northman (yawn) imho. Great story, great action, good acting.If you liked Vikings you may like this.

Whiles away an hour or so. A little tongue in cheek and a bit slow ,to get going.

I gave this a go even though a lot of the reviews said it was dreadful and they switched it off etc.Honestly sometimes I read the reviews and wonder if I’ve even watched the same film.Ok, this isn’t Hollywood budget or production but it’s a decent film.The acting is fine, even though the accents are varied and a bit of a mix up. Some of the language used doesn’t quite fit the time period but it’s not the worst in the world.The fight choreography is good.The storyline is good and strong, a bit of a classic tale (because it’s history)I actually quite enjoyed this, it’s definitely worth a watch if your into that time period films about the crusades etc

This is an excellent production, historically accurate as far as we know the history of the time, with good acting, a well thought out plot with betrayals, well portrayed fighting and a good ending. Really superb viewing. On the dark side, it shows the sickening hypocrisy and power crazed violence of the catholic church of the time and on the good side it shows the spirit of freedom in the face of overwhelming odds. Highly recommended.

Good film when tv has nothing better on

Not good, didn't like it at all. But might be interesting for others.

Below par film

It is not Valhalla Rising, it is not the Vikings, it is not the Braveheart, nor the Kingdom of Heaven. It is something different.I do not regret watching it - actually considering the attention to detail and good acting I really enjoyed it!Well done to my Baltic brethren.

A film from Latvia, very good, historical and worth seeing! I wish they kept the first name, The King's Ring the movie is based on the history of the famous Latvian ring.

Bit slow little bit hard to follow

C'est un bon petit film de guerre historique, assez rythmé, avec des paysages magnifiques.Mais le scénario (le + important) est décousu et peu crédible : il raconte la lutte de 2 ados (?) qui ont reçu les pleins pouvoirs (!!!) de leurs camps respectifs. La fin (trahison + bataille) n'est pas vraiment crédible non plus...Enfin, le film souffre d'un budget mini... Par ex. les chevaliers teutoniques envahissent le pays avec... 2 bateaux !!!

vendeur sérieux reçu comme prévu en très bon étatle film par lui même est a voir pour passer un bon moment sans plus
