Works as advertised. Setup was a breeze, no issues at all, just followed the instructions provided. The lights are bright enough. The wire length was ideal for a GMC Terrain. Adhesive quality is a bit questionable but could be an issue with my car as I stuck it behind the front seats and the material there was cloth. I was able to secure the ends of wires by pushing them into crevices behind the seat. It worked out well but just for others info who want to stick to the cloth seats. The front worked fine as it stuck well to the plastic.

I love the Govee app and the quality and ease of use and installation of this product is great. I pulled back some panels in the car to hide wiring but you don’t need to. Overall I’d say the lights are great, my only critique is the adhesive doesn’t do much. I just went ahead and used the zip ties (probably meant for the wiring). But as long is it doesn’t twist out of place it’s great.

Bought these for my 2014 Chrysler 300c. Love them really add a nice vibe to the car. They are Awsome because the app allows you to lower the brightness So not distracting while driving. They are really bright and they work really good it goes exactly to the beat of the music it’s actually really phenomenal at the price point the only reason I give these a four star instead of a 5 is because it’s a pain in the butt to install depending on your vehicle if your car has carpeting all throughout the lower part of it where the lights go it really doesn’t mix the adhesive does not stick to any plastic or carpet only metal actually the airbag Storage compartment underneath the driver side – what is metal so the adhesive stuck to it the rest of them had to be screwed in to the carpet and to get the tiny little screws through the Hole in the light it’s really a pain in tight spaces but overall it’s pretty easy to install if you know what you’re doing. Also I’m not sure what to do with the one that is sticking to the metal because the adhesive is starting to come off and you can’t really screw through metal in there is no carpet in the area so might have to figure out something but overall it is very nice and the adhesive is still holding on that one so when you do get this I suggest screwing it in if you have an option. Also make sure to hide the wires inside the panels as well as you can they just left right into the corners of the plastic on the side of my car door very easily so that was really convenient but sometimes they tend to pop out every now and then and when you get in the car you forget about it and you go to press the gas and you pull the wire with your foot then you yank the light off of the top then you have to reinstall but I tried to watch for it as much as I can different cars are different set up so they might be better in those web for Chrysler vehicles or Dodge or jeep or anything like that Mopar I know for sure that that will happen overall I do suggest that this is a very good product and I would invest in it for the price point.!

Installed these Govee car LED lights and they work great. Setup with the app was easy, and there are tons of color options and modes. Lights are bright and really change the look of the interior. Good value for the price and they’ve been working without issues.

These were a little pricey to me BUT it was an easy install and I’m not the most creative or electronically inclined person and these were pretty easy to install app is easy to use instructions were easy to follow I drive a charger and they were super easy to put in highly recommend !!

Installed in my Volvo S60, it looks pretty decent tbh. Not all colors look good with a black carpet though. ( thats not a led problem though lol ). Just a warning to everyone with black interrirors and trim. I kinda wish I would of gotten a more serious install kit. I will eventually mod this into the car since I like it. Things it lack for me. Connectors.... and wire thickness. Makes me not want to get too fancy with the wiring. I do think I will cut off the cig lighter adapter and fuse it in the dash and rout the wires through the dash. It's leds, it should last like a super long time before it craps out, even if it's cheap. The cig lighter thing is outdated and redundant, I see why it's here. It's for the non serious individuals. I think it should be an option for this to have a pro install method. The app is decent and works well enough. Settings seem to save themselves to the device too through eprom or somthing <3 so thats cool. So a note to anyone who is serious about like car upgrades and mods, maybe go with something else. This can be made to do the same thing though for cheaper and has like functionality. It's pretty slick, you'll like how it looks im pretty sure and you'll wish you spent a bit more fr. I'm just going to take the time to make this a bit more legit, it it dies out ill just get the legit method for this. Rn I'm just working on the layout of it before I dove in and spent like 60 ~70$ on something else. The wire thickness is a legit peeve though. It's thick.... I don't like that at all lol. For 40 extra bucks though?? To go better idk. If your just testing it out. This is fine. ------------------------------------------------------ Update like 2 weeks later: ------------------------------------------------------ I let them run 24/7 whe. In the car and nothing is burned out and they are fine tbh. I also chose to wire it into the car finally. If you know how to like do basic wiring.. ( super basic shiz ) you'll be able to do it in a hour or 2 depending on how crazy your car interrior is. My S60 interrior was a lot, but it looks great now. No wire is visible and I don't have somthing jammed in a 12v port. For 20$ and some extra wiring and maybe an extra 30 min for install? It's great 🙃 my only concern with these is that they would die in a few days 😄 but nah, they are fine. Let it ride for the 20 $ These are the good fr, ( the app is decent actually... no music sync in app.... only real bummer... sync is done by the controller thing.) They are pretty much bright enough, I arranged then under the seat to cast the light into the passenger and driver foot wells. It looks much better than casting it down onto the floor. ( black interrior peeps, pro tips yo <3 ) You're gonna want to pick up some good wire to run it in your car 🙃 and I used solder to join wires if needed ( depends on how you route the thing. I don't do crimp connectors they are cheesy. Use a normal fuse jumper. Check your wiring diagram for your car to find the 12v outlet fuse 🙃 just use that. Like in my car I don't have a lot of options to jump from. ( and I don't recomend just finding an empty fuse location tbh ) find the 12v outlet fuse and piggy back that fuse for safety <3 All in all.... 20$ + maybe like 5$ in random extra parts added and 2 hours of playing with my car while having fun doing it. Worth it <3 I also added automotive connectors so I can mod another 20$ kit in if I need to easily lol.

Pros: - Very easy install, takes like 2 hours if you wanna cord manage and everything. - Very bright, can even see the lights pretty well in the day time which I did not expect at all. - Music function works AMAZINGLY well, only product I have seen that uses a motion sensor in the control box to get the bass instead of whatever it is other companies do. - App works well once connected - Very quality adhesive, once its on there it is NOT coming off so make sure you know where you want it. - Controller has just exactly what you need and nothing more, I like the simplicity of it. Also means time spent in the app is minimal, app only used for when you wanna set specific colors or effects and it seems can be saved so that you can use the controller to activate them instead of going into the app. - Value is amazing here, $30 for a pretty quality product. - Instructions where very helpful - Neatly packaged - Included zip ties for cable management which was very helpful. Cons: - App seems like just one big advert for their other products, and is also not very intuitive. - A lot of cables, not really the products fault but just something to be aware of. - Doesn't seem to be a HUGE range of colors, but there are still a lot. - If you install them wrong then your kind screwed because that adhesive will stick to the car more than the lights.

The lights were a present for my partner, they arrived two months earlier than expected which was a nice surprise considering the current pandemic! The app is really easy to use and I love that you can change through so many different colours! The lights look great in the car, we have had no issues with setting up or using them so far!
