Lasted about a year before cracks started forming. Ships rolled up. Unrolling was NOT easy.
As others have mentioned, this ships rolled up in a box, and it is extremely stiff, and difficult to unroll.Heat, such as from a hairdryer may help unrolling, though you'd have to be careful. It took at least a day or two before the curl on the ends worked their way out. With all of that said, the mats lasted about a year before cracks started to develop in the center.8-hour use per day, with about 250lbs (including a standard office chair).

They ship the product rolled up which is ridiculous
The mat itself seems to be good, the flaws are that the company sends it rolled up in a box. It takes at least 2 people to TRY and unroll it. I did the 1st one by myself and just about threw my back out. it's been 3 days since I received the first mat and that will probably need another week or so to lay flat HOPEFULLY!

Nice Quality but a Hassle to Unfold
The product arrived rolled up within the box, and was so rigid that it was impossible to unroll. The instructions suggested that I wait a day to have the product reach room temperature. Well, three days later and daytime temps in mid-70s and 80s, it still requires Superman to have it budge. I finally got my hair dryer and after 20 minutes of air within the center and on the outside, and my husband's muscles, we finally got it to lay somewhat uncurled on the carpet. One thing that I noticed was when packaged the mat was kept together by a plastic band across the middle. Well, that pretty much creased the mat once it was unrolled. When the weather warms up and the sun is out here in Houston, I may put out to see if it relaxes out. Else, I will return...this is just not worth the hassle if my chair keeps rolling into that crease divot!

Hard to flatten out, probably due to it's extra thickness
Product has been installed on carpet for over 3 weeks and still won't flatten out completely.

Mat is odorless but dents
Unboxed the mat and placed it in sunlight for an hr and was able to open it. Need to leave it at room temperature for 1 to 2 days for easy opening. Not much of odor. Like the edges and the bottom grooves. The thickness or quality is questionable. Measured the carper as per the manufacturer guidelines and chose medium pile version (since my carpet is less than 3/4"). The worst part is the mat getting dented just with empty chair for few hours. Later the wheels get stuck in dent. This Mat should have been thicker and stronger. I would conclude this mat as below average or POOR quality. Sent email to manufacturer for suggestions no response so far. There is no support from manufacturer, zero response. Their lifetime warranty is of no use...Will wait for another week or 2 and may return this. Will buy a high pile carpet version from other vendors for this price and get better support and quality.

Terrible on medium carpet
I used a straightened paperclip, as recommended, to measure my carpet depth. It was 3/4 inch- which is what this mat is supposedly designed for. I am very disappointed in the performance of the mat. It gets deep divots from the chair castors from the moment you sit down. If I stay in one place for a while, it takes extra effort to roll up and out of the divot to move my chair. Possible, the pliable plastic will make it less prone to cracking over time but the dents are really annoying. The mat would probably work OK on a low pile, institutional carpet but it is a total bust for me.My mat arrived rolled and was a struggle to unroll and flatten. It was already at room temp when delivered since it was a warm day. After 2 hours in the sun, I was able to get it unrolled enough to lay it out, bring it inside and use weights to attempt to flatten it overnight. The next morning, it still looked like a skate park. Back outside in the sun- with weights- and after 4 hours it was sort of flat enough to use. But two days in, the edges still look like a lasagna noodle and I don't think it will ever fully get flat.My only hope is that it will compress my carpet so much over time that the dents will be less noticeable. there is no way I'd ever be able to roll this back up and return it.

Get battle ready
I purchased 2 because of the reviews and reputation of the dealer. BUT what a battle ensued after receiving it. Instructions on the top when you open, instructions, really? Typical man I don't need any so I pulled the rolled-up mat and let the butt whooping begin. It was like the cartoon putting down a carpet and the other end rolls up and vice versa. I eventually went with the instructions and took it outside in the yard and let it heat up and amazingly enough I was able to get it in place without as much trouble and it eventually flattened out.AS you can see in the photo it is large and plenty of room to move the chair on.

Great buy
Great mat. Perfect size for my space so I can move between my computer sewing machine and crafting tables easily. Was a b***** to get rolled out by myself. I ended up having to get an extra pair of hands to get it rolled out. My space was a bit cooler as I only had one place (in my basment) large enough for it to lay flat at so it took longer to lay flat. It took about a week for me to get it flat. I had to move the weights around every few days to get if evenly flat. Not an issue though I would have had that problem no matter which brand of mat I bought. Overall it's a great buy.

Ok Protector
Does what it should, low pile carpet and it isn’t quite as sturdy as expected.

Want to buy it again
Wanted to say, this mat is so good, still last after 4 years everyday use. I want to buy 2 more, too bad, the price is not as good as 4 years ago.

Has held up well in the approx 9 month almost daily use.
Owned for about 8-9 months. No cracks in it yet. Easy to roll around unless you sit in one spot for a long time, then it sinks and you've made yourself a little groove. It's gone over night though and ready to be used again. It didn't take too long to flatten out once it arrives all rolled up. The clear finish hasn't yellowed after almost a year in direct sunlight.
