Are these boots too warm to wear all year?

I used these boots every time in the year, it's feel ok. Not too warm, I think it depend of the person. But, these are very good boots! Water proof, soft inside and robust outside. Light.

Are these padded from ankle to sole, or just around the ankle?

I'm wearing a pair now; they are pretty much padded from ankle to sole, though given the construction of a boot, the padding is less near the sole, where the sides are firmer.
