I needed a new coffee maker and purchased one that I thought would be good. But I ended up returning it because it would not keep my coffee hot. It also had quite a few digital processes that were pretty complicated to set. So I looked long and hard for a great but simple coffee maker. I did a lot of research and finally found it! Bunn Coffee makers are exceptional. If you want great tasting coffee without the bells and whistles, this is the coffee maker for you. It is different than all other coffee makers because it stays on all the time so you always have piping hot water that makes coffee in two minutes or less. (It’s been about one minute for us) I also drink mushroom coffee, which is instant and needs no brewing, so this machine has hot water available all the time for that. No need to boil water anymore for me. Please note that brewing decaf coffee needs a special item which BUNN sends to you free when you ask them for it. This machine has a special spray effect when brewing the coffee and apparently decaffeinated grounds are very different than regular so a different part is needed for best results. On another note, you do have to follow the instructions exactly when setting up the coffee maker. It is not hard at all, but just specific. My husband and I love this coffee machine and because of all the reviews, I know it will last for many years.

Best coffee maker. I love having coffee ready in three minutes. Hot water for tea immediately. I have purchased a Bunn coffee machine for over 40 years. It makes great tasting coffee . You can unscrew the spray head rinse out and ream the line to keep hard water deposits out. They last for several years and it looks good on the counter. I still have my original water pitcher to fill the coffee maker that came with my first purchase over 40 years ago. Highly recommend Bunn Coffee Brewger.

I just purchased my forth BUNN coffee maker in thirty years. I hope to get another ten years of service from this wonderful machine! I was instantly hooked on the quality and speed of the brewed coffee from a friend’s coffee maker, I already had trust in the brand after seeing the BUNN name in quite a few local coffee shops so I felt the extra cost over the regular store shelf brands was justified. BUNN recommended replacing the machine in four years so I was a bit nervous the entire fifth year of the first machine but the heating element finally gave out a few years later. The second one came with a pitcher my new mother-in-law loved; she wasn’t use to not having to turn it on yet, lol. The innovation helped her to choose to invest in her own BUNN! I myself was impressed by the valve under the lid when I got my third machine! I only replaced the third one because it started leaking on the counter if left in the open position over night; my home care aide likes to leave it set ready to go for me in the morning’s. My new GRB Velocity Brew machine is identical to the last one; on the outside anyway. I’m left to wonder if they haven’t fixed the leaking valve; time will tell I guess. But it does say they have reached an important plateau in home design as far as looks and quality are concerned. So if you are on the proverbial fence when it comes to the extra investment, I highly recommend you get one! You won’t be disappointed! TIP: if you use municipal water to make your coffee, I have come to use Deer Park bottled water. It is another step up in my morning elixirs quality!

I had a coffee machine with all the bells and whistles that even brewed tea and made froth I realized I just wanted something good quality that would last and brew a consistent cup. So I started thinking, a family member of mine had this Bunn Coffee machine for years, it met all the criteria including making a consistent cup, it was simple, easy to clean, brewed at a great temp. Theres no extra junk just a good reliable cup of coffee. Every single time. I gave my $200+ Ninja to a family member and bought this one, to say ive been happy with it is in understatement. The coffee always tastes great I call this thing old reliable because thats exactly what it is. A really good simple coffee maker

Great coffee maker. This house is a Bunn believer when it comes to a pot of coffee. Works great; tastes great; and lasts. Price is right as well. You can't go wrong with a Bunn.

I like coffee, but my little 5 cup coffeemaker just isn't big enough. After exhaustive research, the Bunn Velocity seemed to be what I wanted for my forever coffeemaker. After all, all my favorite restaurants have Bunn coffeemakers. It is quick brewing It does make great tasting coffee What I quickly discovered is that, when you brew Decaf, the filter basket (using only Bunn filters) fills up quicker than it drains out into the carafe, resulting in a sea of coffee and grounds overflowing all over my countertop. The Bunn instructions and website want you to wade thru endless time-wasting FAQ's. Their customer service phone is only available limited hours on weekdays. They take great pains to hide the fact that if you brew Decaf or finely ground coffees you require a restricted flow flowhead. They thoughtlessly fail to include one in the package. An on-line request needs to be sent in to request this part. There is a sprayhead designed for use with decaf that can be ordered online. There is no charge for it. If you like the pause & pour feature on a coffeemaker, this one doesn't have it. After quickly brewing, it slowly and eventually stops dripping and leaving a mess on the hotplate. if you buy one, be sure to write down the model number and the datecode stamped on the bottom of the unit before you use it. Otherwise, it is a major pain to drain this unit in order to turn it over to either get the datecode, or to descale it later. you will need the model # and datecode in order to order the decaf sprayhead. I recommend only using distilled, RO or ZeroWater Pitcher filtered water. I you only brew a few cups of coffee, and like the pause & pour feature, just get the cheapest little 5 cup coffeemaker Walmart sells. they're cheap and make EXCELLENT coffee - and they last Forever! i rec'd the decaf sprayhead in the mail today, and promptly loaded up the filter basket to brew 10 cups. it worked like a charm. The liquid does not back up in the filter to overflow as it did with the regular decaf.

The best cup of coffee you will ever have this is a very good coffee maker high-quality. highly recommend you won’t be disappointed very easy to use and very quiet and the perfect size

Luv my Bunn, using this brand for decades. Good value, easy to use., nice design. Makes perfect pot of coffee in minute or two. My coffee always hot & simple to use.
