I love these. I have one in my bedroom because the walk to the bathroom is dark. I always struggle to fall back asleep with a traditional night light. And even with my keeping my eyes closed and groping my way to the bathroom the white light seeps through. BUT THIS is the coolest. The sensor turns on with motion briefly, and with the red lighting it doesn’t create a blinding illumination just the right amount needed. I can even sleep facing the light since it turns off and only on when needed. The red glow reminds me of an incubator and when I snuggled under my blankets I feel peaceful and once the light goes out I’m able to sleep!

Seems good so far. Can be set to come on automatically with motion and the red light doesn’t bother me in the middle of the night and wake me up.

Lov these lights. Keep one in the kitchen and one in my bathroom. So soothing and gives plenty of light to move around in the dark.

So I get up a couple times a night to potty. Red Light is supposed to be helpful to not wake you. These lights have amazing motion detection. From across the room, in the dark, it detects that I've rolled over and turns on. Wow! I had to put mine in another location to stop it from coming on all night. Not a huge problem. I had another outlet ad it was fine. The problem is that for me, they need a dimmer. When I get up, the light is still too bright. If I could dim these, these would get 20 stars.

These worked wonderfully, when they worked. After about two weeks, one of the two would come on randomly. Which would have been fine except it kept waking me up every time it would turn on (about 1-2 min intervals). I tried swapping it out with the second one (which I had placed in the bathroom). It too was broken, which I didn’t even realize. It would stay on, never turning off. I’ve gone back to the other nightlights I previously had. These were great for the amber hue, not a blinding bright white. But I need dark when I sleep, hence why I got these, I wanted the motion detection. Sorry to say they didn’t last long. And it’s too expensive for me to continue to purchase new sets after only a month.

We use these for hallway and stair lights. Work great, and don't screw up night vision. Have quite a few, and getting more tomorrow. Too bright for our bedroom, but great for the hallways and stairs, so I don't hurt myself.

This nightlight throws off a serious amount of light. I wanted a nightlight for a large bathroom, so it could be used at night (e.g. toilet, brushing teeth, etc.) without the need to turn on the main lights. I have two of these lights in there now. Red is a great color for this purpose, as it doesn't affect night vision, and won't disrupt sleep patterns, like cool white or daylight bulbs (i.e. those toward the blue end of the spectrum) will. At nearly a four inch diameter, this nightlight was larger than i had expected it to be (yet it doesn't prevent the lower socket from being used). The large size is necessary to throw out the amount of light which this nightlight does. In a small bathroom, or many other applications, this may be more light than one might want. But it works quite well when one has a need for more light than what most red nightlights throw off. I personally wouldn't use it in a bedroom, opting instead for a less bright light there, but that's my personal preference. Your needs may be different. The IR sensor seems to work well, as does the daylight sensor. Comes on when one needs it, and not when one doesn't.

I purchased these off of a video review I watched and was immediately drawn to the dim yellow glow they emit. Perfect for bathrooms or hallways. I have had them in my kitchen and bathrooms for about 6 months now and really enjoy them. They pick up motion detection immediately so they turn on as soon as you step into the room. Not having to turn on all the lights in the house to go fill up a water bottle or use the restroom in the evening is nice. The light is bright enough that you can see what you are doing but a dull yellow so it does not wake your brain up too much if you are wanting to go back to sleep. I would purchase these again and even go as far to say gift these to family or friends.
