Preferred brand
This is my 3rd of this brand and style of bed. Easy to setup, easy to clean, good quality.

Great bed
Both of my dogs are large girls, 75+- lbs each. They love these beds, there's a layer of cooling gel or the choice of egg crate. My girls deserve orthopedic quality and it's easy to remove the cover for washing. I buy these beds when it's time for a new one. They arrive air-removed, so it's squashed flat and takes a few days to fluff totally, like the mattresses we use now. I've found that putting them outside on something or inside in a bright sunny spot, the sun helps the fluff-up process happen faster.

Awesome dog bed.
Our big German Shepherd (120+ lbs) with a displaced hip loves this bed. It’s super thick and hasn’t broken down even though it’s been almost a year of use. Cover is great and easy to wash compared to most. I’m definitely happy with my purchase and even better so is my dog.

For the right situation
I bought one of these to fit a closet space in my home office which has no doors but instead curtains which don't come all the way down to the ground...so the dogs have their own little cubby hole to rest in. To say the least the dogs love it and rest there all the time! My daughter will even curl up and lay in there sometimes...it really is humanly comfortable too!Now the not so great news. I know some people blame dog chewing on the owners...well shame on you! You are partially right but some breeds are just chewers and even with the best training there are some slip-ups. Also...training is not something you snap your fingers at...so getting the dog trained takes time and repetition! So if you buy this for your adult, trained dog to use often then get another puppy and still need to train you could have some issues. This item is NOT chew proof in any way...in fact it is not even scratch proof...and that is where my issue came in. We got a new puppy and were able to control her biting and chewing as we trained her alright...but the older dog likes to moves around blankets and stuff in a pretty aggressive way and this cover did not hold up to her trimmed nails well at all. Once the tears were there the puppy would chew and make true holes in it and the foam started coming out. As the puppy has gotten older and better trained she completely ignores these holes and makes zero attempt to chew. We often cover it with a blanket as out of sight out of mind always works best...but the older dog constantly uncovers it.Would I buy this again? I probably will buy another when this gets a little worse for wear. This thing is LOVED by our dogs and is extremely comfortable for them. When it comes to comfort for the dogs you really can't get much better...but I had to knock this down a little just because the cover couldn't even hold up to a dog scratching to move things off of it. Even if I didn't have a dog that does that the cover likely would wear down over time faster than others cause it is too thin (but so soft!).So if you are going to have NO dogs training in your house and don't have heavy scratchers then this would likely be perfect for you. I know it fits my location exactly how I wanted and that alone makes it perfect for what I needed and gets it the 4 stars at least despite the current condition of it (which was due to many combining factors).

My German Shepard loved it!!
When I still had my German Shepard she’d lay on this bed all the time. She had bad arthritis in her back legs so this helped cushion them when she’d lay down. It’s easy to remove and wash the cover. The Quality is great I e had it for 3 years. The padding and support is great! And it’s a nice bed that I bought her a second one for a different room in the house

LARGE!
We purchased the largest option for a bed as we have a 100lb and 150lb dog(pictured). They both can fit on it (with overhang). The cover is removable, the height is perfect, but it does hold a lot of heat. Overall, day 3 of having it and it's a great purchase.

Nope. Not recommended.
Awful experience with this bed. Actually, it's a nice cushioned foam mattress with a minky fur cover. My kids liked laying on it ... And, if that was the intended purpose, I'd give it 5 stars. But, my dog hated it. She was wary of the bed fr the start. She barked at it, scratched at it, refused it. We put her favorite blanket over it, and she would begrudgingly lay on it. But, periodically she would push the blanket off and attack the mat. When I removed the cover to clean it, I discovered why. It was a dirty foam mattress. It had other hairs on it and looked yellowed around the edges. It was gross. I tried to clean it up, as this was not a cheap bed, and we had already had the dog lay on it for a week or two. I was confused. Was this used? The cover looked clean. But, after laundering the cover, the zipper broke off. Just ripped right off the seam. I also noticed holes, possible from our puppy biting it. But, sure enough after cleaning it and sewing the zipper back on, our puppy ended up easily tearing into it and ripping up the foam. Bye, bye bed. We had it for just a few months. It was WAY more work than it was worth. Btw, we bought another bed for puppy last month. Completely different experience so far. She likes it. Snuggles in it. Seems happy. No barking, biting, or tearing.

Seems pricey for what it is
So I was back and forth between this bed and Petfusion Ultimate Orthopedic Bed. The cost difference between the regular memory foam of this bed and the Petfusion was significant ($66 vs $179) so I was leaning towards this one. I then upgraded from the memory foam to the cooling foam core which increased my price to over $100. I don't know, maybe my expectations were too high, but the core foam seemed very lightweight and not worth the extra money. I bought this bed to replace a 15 year old LL Bean bed that has an egg crate foam core. Even that old bed felt more firm than this one. My 12 year old dog didn't seem to think much of this one either, so I think I'm sending it back. On the plus side, the cover seemed very soft and the bed's contour was unique. Maybe it's good for your needs, just didn't fit mine.
