Performance Depends on Your Expectations
The short user guide included says this money counter will “add” bills, but for some odd reason, the “add” function does not default to “on”, and the user guide doesn’t tell you how to turn it on. I was looking for a Shift key to activate the option, because every time I hit the “add” button, the number ‘2’ popped up on the screen.I attempted to Google how to turn the add function on.Google provided the same manual that the device came with, so I called Silver’s customer service department. The rep wasn’t sure and placed me on hold for several minutes. The rep spoke to someone in technical support. You have to hold down the CF key and then hit the “add” option, so the CF is like the Shift key on this machine.I also confirmed with the rep that this machine does NOT actually add the grand total of the bills, which is probably what most of us were expecting. He advised that the S1070 is an entry-level machine that only counts the number of individual bills, without calculating the amount. It tells you the overall number of bills. That’s fine if you only have one denomination of bills, but I would venture to guess that most people are looking for the “add” function to get the total value of the bills loaded in the hopper. That being said, it works fine as long as you group your money by denomination and then load each group into the hopper separately. You’ll have to separately calculate the total for each denomination and then calculate your grand total on your own.Since there is an “add” option, it wasn’t clear up front that it only counted the physical number of bills. I think if everyone knew this up front, it would change the perception of the counter’s performance.

We have cash on hand from work my husband does for people.
Best way to keep your money free and clear of being fake. We use this when counting up money from my husband's work that he does for people. This allows us to make sure we have no issues with any money received.

No te hace la sumatoria del total de los billetes, solo cuenta la cantidad de billetes.

Accurate
This bill counter is really nice. It accurately counts the number of bills you place in the hopper and does it quickly. It's a lot easier than counting by hand. This machine doesn't differentiate denominations between the bills, so you'll have to separate your bills and then count them based on denomination. The counterfeit measures seem to work well. The machine is pretty quiet while running, but every time you push a button, it's pretty loud. Has an external counter display as well and comes with a built-in handle for transporting.

Almost everything I wanted
The media could not be loaded. By the title, you might be wondering whats missing? The answer is nothing. It detects bills and I can sort by denomination, add, change speeds, etc.My only disappointment is that is does not feed NEW bills at all. I get stacks of new bills from the bank from time to time and they just get jammed up. I found that if I crinkle the bills first, it feeds just fine, but thats time consuming. This is the first ACCU Banker I've owned. Been using it a few months now and it continues to perform well.I do wish the instructions were more user friendly for first timers. I didn't understand the abbreviations at first or know what the settings did until I played around with it.I think the value is worth the investment. The main reason for the purchase was to detect fake bills. Not everyone who handles money knows what to look for how it feels. So this purpose alone has made it worth it to me.
