Easy to use, very helpful!
I'm the grammar and style reviewer for our internal materials development group, so I need to be up to speed on both to ensure our work meets our standards. This book is a great resource for me - it's easy to find the correct grammar and styles to use in multiple professional situations. Happy to have this in my library!

Nothing is better than actually applying what you learn and this workbook ...
I teach writing and have probably close to fifty books on writing in my collection. I carry the book that this is the workbook to with me and use daily. I give it as a prize to writers in some of my workshops. I have worked my way through this workbook, and it reinforced all I've learned and reminded me of details I've forgotten. Nothing is better than actually applying what you learn and this workbook is the way to do it. I recommend it to my students.

Very nice! Short and sweet reading book w/ workbook to brush up your skills ...
Very nice! Short and sweet! Most test questions are geared to a level for students who may not be at the high-school- or college-level, but this workbook provides a long list of the most misused and some of the most misspelled words (as I am not the best speller with more difficult words). I found these chapters to be extremely helpful. The questions in the chapter have 1000+ misspelled words and were more difficult than the grammar questions in the workbook for me; most grammar books that I've seen just pair words up together; this book provides sentences from which you can choose the correct answers. Would be a really handy guide, along with the book that accompanies it, for anyone who wants to improve grammar terminology, misused words, and misspelled words quickly. However, I would strongly encourage using a more in-depth book if you want to further your grammar lessons with a deeper analysis Such books can also be bought on Amazon (i.e., a McGraw-Hill grammar book, such as "The McGraw-Hill Handbook of English and Grammar" or a college-level book, such as the "Simon & Schuster Handbook for Writers", which covers not only grammar and writing, but also the different style guides (i.e., APA, CM, and CBE styles).

Misprinted? Missing 33 pages!
The media could not be loaded. I rated this 5 stars so people could actually see my review video. I would rate 1 out of 5.This product doesn’t have the correct pages, which is very disappointing. Pages skip from 128 to 161 (missing pages 128-161). Pages 161-190 repeated twice. Ridiculous.

Nothing technically wrong with this book, but some things ...
Nothing technically wrong with this book, but some things you should know before you buy:1. of 255 pages, 97 pages are diction - spelling and commonly confused words.2. another 20 pages at the end are index, leaving 138 pages of actual grammar exercises3. Most of those 138 pages are only 1/2 to 3/4 full.Again, I am not complaining - the book is sold as a companion to an instructional book (which I did not buy). I just expected more.

No regrets :0)
This book is really easy to follow. I also purchased the reference book "The Grammar Book You'll Ever Need". This book is perfect for kids and adults. I feel more aware as mother helping my 11year old with his homework. I'm becoming a more aware writer. God Bless :0)
