Not impressed!!!!
Owned different types of wet tile cutters in the past but this is NOT the best I have owned. Rubi is supposed to be a good make but to be honest I have purchased supposedly cheaper tile cutters that are of better quality for less money. This one tends to spay water every where even though the reservoir is filled to the correct level. Poor design makes quick and easy cleaning difficult Ok this maybe an entry level wet tile cutter from Rubi but don't be fooled into thinking you are getting a quality item.

Great !!!
Used this cutter for a quartz floor 600x600 tiles cut no problem I don't normally do reviews but having read these ones thought I should these are the toughest tiles on the market and this wee cutter managed to cut approx 45-50 tiles no problem with the original blade

Complete rubbish!
Bought this to replace a £40 plasplugs cutter. It chewed tiles, flooded the customers floor (no water recycle drain), the water reservoir can’t be emptied/refilled without spilling the contents - even the rubber feet fall off. Whoever designed this has never cut a tile and should be sacked! More than 4 times the price yet can’t touch the £40 plasplugs cutter. I cut 10 tiles and returned it within 12 hours of purchase. Useless!

Bought this cutter as Rubi come with a good reputation but I can say tool wise this is the worst piece of equipment I've invested in. It's a nightmare to keep clean and is difficult to do a straight cut without it jamming. The blades it came with were cheap and didn't last two minutes cutting porcelain tiles. Really disappointed with this purchase unfortunately.

The blade supplied with it is utterly useless leaving horrible edges on the most basic tile
Having worn out my cheap £30.00 wickes tile cutter decided to "upgrade" to one of these so-called quality tile cutters. I can honestly say that it is a cheap pile of junk with a Rubi label on it. The blade supplied with it is utterly useless leaving horrible edges on the most basic tile. To be honest it is worse than any cheap £30.00 pound cutter on the market. After cutting just four tiles the chrome surface of the cutting table had worn all the way through to the copper underneath. Please avoid!!!

Very poor quality
I purchased one of these a year ago to tile a small but prestigious marble bathroom. I didn't buy from Amazon but from a professional tool shop in Putney. The price has come down a lot since I bought mine but unless the quality has dramatically improved in the interim period (unlikely) this tool isn't worth even the reduced price it's now selling for (I think I paid £155.00).For a start, the supplied blade was cheap rubbish, and I had to upgrade to a £65.00 Marcrist blade before the machine would cut with anything like acceptable speed or, more importantly, leave even a reasonably clean cut edge. Then, within a very short period of time, the machine grew extremely noisy, despite oiling and cleaning as best I could - the design doesn't lend itself to efficient care and maintainance.I then didn't need the cutter for some months, but, when I did try to use it again just recently, the "on" switch wouldn't stay depressed. Also, the noise had grown intolerable, it sounded badly rough with no apparent cause or cure.I've owned similar - but much cheaper - wet tile cutters previously, and I can honestly say that any of them, although not great, were much better value than this over-priced piece of junk. The manufacturer wants you to believe that this machine is a significant step up; not quite 'pro' quality maybe, but a lot better than the DIY versions sold by all the major chain stores. Well, it isn't. If you plan to use a wet tile cutter a lot then spend more on something that's at least fit for purpose. And if you plan to do just one or two domestic type jobs, you can buy a much cheaper machine for well under £50 that will almost certainly be better than this one.
