was never sure it the timer i had on an extension cord was actually ON…this confirmed that. used it for my engine block heater.

Simple enough to use, works as advertised, always showing power at the plug

Works as it should.

Use on my horse water tank heater to make sure power is on. Light is bright enough to see in daylight.

I plugged the adapter into the end of my extension cord and can now see if power is on. I leave the extension cord plugged into the boat, so a quick look verifies that power is going to the charger and that the batteries are being charged.

I'm very pleased with the two PowerLite plugs I bought. I have one on the outlet for my garbage disposal, and another on a timed / remote triggered outlet for a hot water recirculation loop.The one installed behind the garbage disposal allows me to quickly spot check to make sure that either current is on and the garage disposal is jammed, or, if I'm going to unjam the disposal, it give me an additional quick spot check before I pull the plug. I like to avoid pulling wires on operating devices so as to avoid throwing sparks, and I NEVER work on a garbage disposal that has any power to it at all. Having this light makes the occasional disposal jam easier to diagnose quickly.The other is installed out in the garage in an awkward spot to see from the doorway into my house. I have a fisheye mirror mounted on the wall of the garage, and this lit power plug installed in the outlet. I can quickly confirm that the hot water recirculating loop is on, so I can set the delay on our dishwasher confident that hot water will be ready! Again, a wonderful convenience for something that was so cheap.I'm probably going to pick up another two for my extension cords which have circuit breakers on the spindle: if the circuit breaker blows, I won't have to walk 80ft or 100ft back to confirm that the issue isn't with the tool plugged into the end point.

So glad I was able to find something like this. I am using it in my bathroom in kind of an interesting way. I used to have a Bath & Body Works plug-in, which I had to remove for the last little bit, because the bottom portion covers more than it's fair share of the outlet. We just got a Google Home Mini, which has a round plug, and also takes up more than it's fair share of space...This was the solution to bring the BBW plug away from the wall enough to provide adequate clearance. Now, my bathroom smells good again, and I have a night light! (Note, the BBW plug is also a nightlight, but they don't really compete with one another.)Met my needs, and the price was good.

What these "things" offer up is a display for the end of an extension cord. Ever plugged in an extension cord and then had to hunt down the other end? All this does is pass through the power and in doing so light up the other end of an extension cord. I was surprised - I expected an LED in 2018 but instead they still use the SOP NE2 neon bulb. You may not see it in bright sunlight, but indoors and at dusk they work just fine. They also serve another purpose... is the socket alive? Did the GFI trip or not? These are great for quick power testers for outlets. I find these "plugs" quite useful, and being a pretty "dumb" device they get 5 stars simply for working. There really isn't much to review other than their usefulness.

Have had a few disasters when the crockpot were plugged in and didn’t cook due to the plug in being blown(teens and their hairdryers🤔) and I didn’t know... I plug this in every time I use the crockpot and it has saved me...highly recommend.

Unsatisfied with product wanted to use on block heater but for indoor use you can buy two pack outdoor/ indoor for about 7 dollars at canadian tire seem to be same quality felt ripped off
