Pelican 1495 Laptop Case (Black)

I am that confident in Pelican products from the states I can leave this review even though I haven't received it yet.

Have numerous photographic equipment Peli cases. This is well up to the standard.

OK I confess, I've modified mine from day one! I use a bobj silicone case on my Nexus 7 tablet, but when its not in use I throw that combo into the Pelican case (I had to take out the pelican lining so it would fit so I can't comment on its effectiveness). I'm a plumber and at the end of every job I pop my Nexus (in its bobj) into the Pelican and throw it in my tool bag. It bounces around in there with the hammers and saws until I throw it in the next puddle! I've stood on it, sat on it, used it to prop doors open, and it still looks pretty much untouched. Build quality is great, the catches still work and most importantly so does the Nexus! Reviewed after 7 months continual use, not straight out of the packet! PS I didn't buy this through Amazon, I went through another firm in the UK who charged the same price but were awful with their customer service. Bad mistake.
