looks good, haven't tested or installed yet.... installed and tested and am happy with the result.
giving if 4 stars based on appearance for now, the speakers look and feel like a good quality the magnet that powers the speaker is large and powerful so they should sound decent and be a bit punchy, going to bench test them tomorrow using just head unit power before install and will let y'all know. update: not the best speakers ever but they do sound ok. I purchased these for a cooler stereo build and they installed easy enough. i wanted to go cheap on the build so if this thing goes for a swim in the river (Comal or Guadalupe in New Braunfels, TX) i wont be out a lot of money, honestly the speakers would probably survive but the cheap Pyle deck and amp would be toast. A couple yrs later and these are going strong, wasn't too impressed with the sound using a Pyle head unit and 1000w Pyle amp but the head unit just bit the dust and I replaced it with a cheap no name Chinese head unit which seams to output a better preamp signal that the old Pyle giving the amp more to work with and wow these speakers hit hard on base and sound clear on mids and highs. Well worth the money but do yourself a favor and get a good amp. Most headunits output 60w max per channel and I do mean 60w max, that rating is basically pushing the head unit to the absolute brink causing distortion and risking smoking the head unit's amp. Oh these are now a 5 star based on longevity and the fact I apparently based my original review on a crappy headunit powering the speakers.

Update
The size is off by like 1” doesn’t line up exactly to my factory 6” x 9” factory holes these speakers are about 1” smaller. Connectivity was easy comes with everything you need. For the price I paid they ok but I had to leave my factory plastic that holds the speakers in place because these don’t come with one and that’s maybe the reason why the speakers holes don’t line up with the factory holes on my car. They are firm though for stability doesn’t feel cheap or light. But again maybe it’s my indash because it’s a dual that doesn’t give me a lot of options to adjust the bass and voice on the speakers that I don’t find them to push 500watts each so when I upgrade my indash I will update ya Update: So I upgraded my indash from a dual to a pioneer AppRadio and let me tell you when you are inside the car these thing scream, they are loud asf but you have to turn off all the bass on them because with too much bass they sound like trash, they not going to scream like ev’s will that people can hear your music from blocks away, but for the price and with the right indash radio these things will scream while you are inside the car, which is not bad because if you like me and love loud music but afraid to turn it up all the way because of the law, you don’t need to worry with these speakers because while you are inside the car it sounds like you clapping to some ev’s but when u are standing outside the car u can only hear it as far as few feet’s away from the car and it’s not loud at all for a violation ticket for disturbing the peace. They ok with low bass on them too much bass they sound trash but again for the price and if you just want something that sounds nice these are good for that, I’m planning on buying voice speakers in the future for my car because I have loud bass system also boss but for now these are good, and also I added cheap $20 tweeters from Walmart to these 6x9’s and it gave it that perfect voice sound.

works great, replaced stock speakers with these
I brought these speakers for my Jeep and super Happy! background, i have a 2012 jeep patriot. the stock stereo stopped working about 6 months ago . went to a car audio store and was asked $400 to fix it. what? i figured it might not be so hard to put a new stereo myself, so went along to watch some youtube videos on replacing car stereos. i also didn't want it end up as a failed project, and so if it did, i didn't want to lose lots of money. so i got a cheap stereo for $25 at amazon. opening the car stereo, the connecting plugs were different. now what? seeing more videos, i decided to cut the cables from the jeeps audio adapter and connect them to the generic $25 stereo. after all, it should nt be hard right, i knew i had to connect the 4 stock speakers, link the power from car battery ( to retain time ,radio presets etc) and the accessory power so radio turns on when the car key turns on the accessory step before ignition right? that should nt be too hard, right? well after i did all the wiring, the radio turned on, the cheap stereo displayed colorful lights, but...there was no sound from the stock speakers. oh no! is it turning to be a failed project? dang. time to hit the internet for more advice...! i found out that for the jeep stereo, the audio had to pass through a some module / preamp / amp before it was fed to the speakers! now i was thinking , was this in-between module was to blame? now i have a stock stereo, a cut up stock cable connector and a $25 car stereo , with no sound and a hole in the dash board. was this worth it? Think Rozario, Think! i had some old small speakers that was part of a creative labs home theater i got for $10 at a church thrift sale a couple of years ago. i connected the speakers to the new car stereo, it worked and got sound from the speakers. Phew. i spent time concealing the speaker wire under the car carpet. put the speakers under the front car seats and that went on for a while. i was ok with the set up except one thing. when i increase the volume, the creative speakers could nt handle it and i got a jarring/ shrieking sound. i could live with not that loud volume anyway, but it was one of those bothering things that you want to get to, but never had the time or motivation or discomfort enough to get to. now to the speakers...earlier this week, i stumbled upon these speakers in Amazon and some light bulb went up...400W...may be this can handle the 200W power from the cheap stereo. its only $20. i also got enclosure boxes for $30. the speakers and boxes came in, i put together, was not too hard, and replaced my 4 creative speakers with these 2 speakers. and thankfully, they fit in below the car seats. for the total project cost of $75 ( 25 car stereo +20 speakers +30 enclosures ) and few hours watching you tube, i got the satisfaction of fixing things. I did it! life is great again. i am enjoying my jeep drives, cruising on the highway, listening to MP3 songs from the cheap stereo on these awesome & cheap speakers. these speakers have a good response for both low and high frequency sounds without any jarring / shrieking sounds at high volume, i went all the way up and still the speakers held up well. yeah! thats my story & take on these speakers and hope it will help you make a decision based on your needs on these speakers. good luck!

Great sound. WAY better than stock (even with a "premium sound system"). Nice a and clear. Bright highs, warm mids and solid lows. Not competition quality, but truth be told, I'm not buying this to show off. I wanted replacement speakers for my car that were better than what the car came with and I got exactly that. For the price they are a GREAT deal and I have ZERO regrets. If I get to the point where I need to consider replacing car speakers again I wouldn't hesitate to consider another set of these. I've used other "high end" brands in past vehicles and I can say I am equally as pleased with the sound quality of these as I am with any of the others. For the price though I am definitely feeling good about this purchase. Time will tell how they hold up, but at this stage I have no complaints. One word of caution though; the size of the holes needed to mount these is about 1/8" larger on all sides than I have found for a number of stock speaker brands and the holes MAY need to be enlarged a bit. It isn't something you can really know without the included pattern ahead of time. Before buying these, or any other car speaker, try and find (download from manufacturer) a copy of the ORIGINAL template and compare the cut hole size to what you already have and buy accordingly. Don't expect a universal product to fit universally. This has NOTHING to do with the quality of the speakers you are buying.

1 of the speaker is garbled when the music has a bass even on low volume. The other speaker is fine. I'm not sure if they will accept returns otherwise Waste of money to buy

Its not the best speaker, but for my purpose audio upgrade, its decent enough compared to my stock car speakers. Pair it with a decent amp and your good to go. Good bass handling, mids and highs are above average for me compared to other speakers. Best of all i got this lower than its SRP i got a discount so overall, its a good item👍🏼
