Bluebirds Love It
I needed a feeder to serve up mealworms to our local bluebirds without the Mockingbirds and Grackles gobbling the worms in a frenzy. I tried several different styles before finally making the investment in this one. It has definitely exceeded my expectations. It has been quite amusing to watch the larger birds unsuccessfully try to get at the worms (they eventually gave up). It took the bluebirds 3 or 4 days to figure out entry and exit. We actually had a juvenile get "trapped" but we freed it unharmed. The bluebirds (including the juvenile) now enter and exit without even stopping to perch. The materials are solid, the workmanship exceptional and the colors choices are great. We picked the turf green roof and cherry wood body. It is a great addition to our garden bird station.

Good quality but...
This is a great quality feeder and worth the few week wait. The obnoxious mockingbirds can’t make their way in, but so far neither have the bluebirds. The Carolina wrens are another storyUpdate a month in and rating change:Squirrels have started chewing the holes. At this price they should put some metal guards around the entry holes. Bluebirds still haven't been able to make their way in. Very disappointing

well built
I love this feeder. This is the second one I bought since the squirrels ate the entry holes so bad that other big birds got in & ate all the worms. This feeder came with the wire hanger. When you tilt the roof you can take out both sides for easy cleaning. This material will last for a very long time. My bluebirds love it too. Great feeder!

Worth every penny
This is a very well made sturdy blue bird feeder. It has entry holes on the side that are perfect for bluebirds to enter and feed without being disturbed or scared off by bully birds like those pesky European starlings. The sides of the feeder allow me to watch the birds eat and prevent them from scattering the worms on the ground reducing wasted worms. My expensive mealworms are being eaten by my bluebirds, yea. Sometimes the sparrows will eat but it is still less than the starlings since the starlings are too big to enter the feeder.

Birds seem to not be able to find way out
I was really looking forward to hanging this feeder in my yard, arrived timely and ready for immediate use. One the second day my first bird entered to feed, upon returning from work my son mentioned that the bird was inside for over three hours unable to find way out, second day same thing with an Oriole...I took it down and hopefully my husband can make the entrance hole larger. I would not buy again do not want to worry about the birds getting trapped.

Love it SO much~ This is my second review!
I love this feeder! I have tried several without luck in hopes of luring bluebirds...and bingo! This has done it! Not even sparrows try to go inside but the bluebirds have no hesitation. Great product...well designed. Easy to fill and clean. Lovely to look at. Wonderfulđź’™

I love it but.... :(
Bluebird couldn't figure out how to get inside at first so I opened up one of the side panels. It was perfect for awhile this way but then starlings found the food, so I closed the side panel up. The bluebirds did figure it out, but ended up getting stuck inside. I had to go rescue one! It is too stressful for me. I hope they can figure it out but back to letting one of the side panels open.

Nice feeder
It's very nice, but as you see from my picture, it doesn't keep out the blackbirds. It *does* slow them down so they don't empty the feeder in 5 minutes though. Easy to clean. Nice and solid, should last for years.
