I LOVE these lamb shears for trimming hedges
These are my favourite for topiary one handed for arthritic people who can’t use two handed shears please try these they are an absolute joy to use. I have lots of topiary if they get sticky clean the blades if blunted with rust use a sandpaper block or sandpaper. Years and years I have all different sizes! Try to get stainless steel. If they rust cos left out in rain etc use BROWN sauce leave a few hours and rust wipes off sharpen and oil and good to go what’s not to love my favourite tool in garden!!!

Good buy
Bought these for my husband who is a shepherd. He said they’re great. Big improvement from the last set he had.

Good for shearing a few sheep.
Probably not for the professional but fine for trimming small numbers of sheep. Good value for money.Edited after ordering a second pair: My first pair was in need of professional sharpening, so at the price , I decided to simply buy another set of shears. Either the blade set was wrong or they were not fully sharpened, they would simply not cut. Returned and received replacement. These work well. So 2 out of 3 which I have used are good.

Easy to use
They are just what I needed for trimming my dog as she has long hair before using the battery operated clippers

Defective, poor quality
The item supplied to me had warped blades and in consequence the cutting edges did not meet along most of the length of the blade. In consequence attempting to cut simply rotated the material between the blades and pushed the blades apart. The cutting edges did meet at the far tip. The only way these shears could be used was to snip at the distal tip. OVERALL very poor quality and barely functional. I suggest that you don't waste your time and money. Spend a few pounds more on shears from a quality brand manufacturer

Not suitable for sheep wool. Very blunt blades
Whilst the design of the shears is fine, the blades WILL NOT cut sheep wool- not even lambs wool. They should not be sold as sheep shears unless it is advised that additional sharpening is needed before first use as they will pull the wool causing discomfort to sheep. The cost added to have them professionally sharpened before first use makes them expensive compared to other more reliable brands. I’m sure they would be fine used as lawn trimmers
