Easy to use

the package does not fully encapsulate the piece, so the shaft is left dangling outsite of the plastic wrap. Mine came with a little of rust on the shaft, presumably from being stored in a humid place... I wiped it with some wd40 and a rag and the rust was clearly visible on the rag. Otherwise it seems to be a good purchase

I bought the Malco BHE10 Bit Holder Extension in February this year (2019), and it was quite satisfactory until today when I used it to hold a bit in a DeWalt 20 volt impact driver. The bit holder flew apart almost instantly--nothing broke, but the spring-loaded retainer mechanism, which is pressed on, came off in pieces. I could not find the ball bearing when I re-assembled the bit holder, so it no longer holds bits securely. Another customer says that he uses the Malco 10-inch bit holder in an impact driver, but I would not recommend it, since the retainer mechanism on mine came off the shaft, evidently, due to the intense vibration. I am not surprised that this happened, given he build, but I wish I hadn't reached for this pricey bit holder when I needed an extension.

This is a good solid little extension. I had some deck screws that were tight up against the siding and I couldn't get my impact driver adjacent without some help. This has been useful for a handful of other applications, since.

This extension is so ridiculously sturdy compared to the big name brand ones you can find in stores. Use it every day and love it!

Extends capability to reach hard to get to screws, nuts and bolts with sockets. Fits into any corded or battery operated drill. Can also fit into a 1/4" socket.

Sturdy and long enough for any job, the locking mechanism gets stuck every now and then but a little jiggle frees it up

I haven’t used it yet but it appears to be robust. It will be handy when the need arises.
