We have a Magic Chef MCWC45MCG wine cooler that stopped cooling a while ago with no signs of life from the compressor. I replaced the overload protector with this unit and the compressor relay with another Amazon find. Neither had exactly the same part numbers but as many others have reported, the part numbers have changed over the years but this overload protector works perfectly and took all of 2 minutes to replace.For about $10, plus another $10 for the relay, it was a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a new wine cooler, and not much of a financial loss if they didn't work.

Got this with a starter relay for an old wine fridge that would not cool anymore. Was told that this part and the relay for it were no longer available, but these looked identical and are usually the parts that go on the fritz. Easy to put this in and the fridge works just fine. Saved me from buying a new wine fridge.

I have a Haier bar refrigerator that stopped working with LG compressor NSA36LACG. I used this part to replace the old refrigerator overload protector. I also replaced the old start relay that had part number P6R8MC OR0606 with new part P6R8MC OR1001 from Amazon at the same time since I wasn't sure which part wasn't working. It was worth the approximately $17 for both parts. The refrigerator started right up! I was so excited since we had our custom cabinets built around the Haier refrigerator and I couldn't find a replacement with the same measurements. Highly recommend!

This part is in about 90% of the refrigerators out there....it is like a breaker for your compressor. If the temp gets too much from the resistance (amperage) it kinda trips. I'm not 100% positive, but I believe it only can trip once....thus you need to buy a new one. You can test your old one by (unplugging the fridge) removing the OLP and test for continuity with a multimeter. Normally it should have continuity.I am about to buy another one to have on deck

Product was great and it worked perfectly when installed. The only problem is that they delivered the product to the house on my right. It is not the first time. They delivered other product to the house on my left and the second hose on my left. I have a number on my house and a second set on the telephone. How much easier could it be.

Fits Vinotemp VT-27 TS. Easy install. Bought the working wine fridge used for $100. Installed as preventive maintenance.
