Is the iron rest removable or does it interfere with folding and then standing it up on end?

I haven't tried to remove it, it DOES NOT interfere with folding or standing it up on its end, it is quite sturdy!

How long is the actual ironing surface? (not including iron rest please)

50 inches long and the width at the widest is 18 inches.

is the actual board metal? Not plastic!!

The actual board along with the legs and every part of this well made board . . . it's all metal. You will love it's adjust-ability!

Is height adjustable?

Hi, Yes, the height is adjustable. I am 5'8 my husband is 6'2 it works for us standing; but I also have a bad hip and sometimes sit when I iron, that works as well.
