Why did you pick this product vs others?: I give this headset 5 start. The noise canceling quality is excellent. Fits great on my large head. Mid weight but much lighter and more durable than my old headset. Comes with a hard carry bag which is nice. Headset has braided Kevlar cord which doesn’t kink and increased strength and flexibility vs standard cord Functionality: Great, does exactly what is needed Sound quality: excellent sound quality Weight: medium Value for money: good value Size: fits large head

Compre mis audifonos, me los entregaron con unos dias de atraso, pero ese no el el problema, el dia 19 de julio, mis audifonos cumplieron el periodo maximo para la devolucion, y el dia de hoy en un vuelo, empezaron con problemas. El audifono izquierdo empieza a hacer ruidos de estatica, tanto cuando esta activo como cuando esta en standby. Estoy muy enojado que me saleron asi. De haber sabido, hubiera optado por unos Bose A30

Student pilot. The school provides some dinky el-cheapo passive headsets with their rental fleet. The school's headsets work but they clamp way too hard (hurts my ears) and are not durable (always falling apart). Had to buy a real headset to keep my sanity. The Zulu 3's are not cheap but they are well-constructed. They are incredibly light and you can barely feel them once you have them on. No idea how well the ANR stacks up to the competition but the cockpit of my SportCruiser was quiet and peaceful enough for me while wearing these. ATC and I can hear each other very well, no issues. My cockpit partner says I sound great as well. One negative I would say is that Bluetooth music sounds washed out but I didn't really buy these as audiophile headphones so I'm not going to dock any points. You should be more worried about your surroundings and flying the airplane than how well Taylor Swift sounds while you're on your XC.
