I bought this on my trip to Scotland. I used it all up while I was there, by then I was too far south to find more. I came home and found it here. It is not quite as good without the Scottish water, but still nice robust tea.

Edinburgh Scottish Breakfast
This is a nice black tea, but there is nothing to distinguish it from other black tea offerings here on Amazon. Over the last few months, I've found several black teas, primarily from UK blenders and at price points as high or considerably lower than Edinburgh, that are simply a better cup of tea.UPDATE: After having several more cups of Edinburgh Scottish Breakfast, I must revise my original review. I typically brew tea 4-5 minutes, sometimes a little longer when I absentmindedly do so. My first impression of Edinburgh Scottish was formed on the 4-5 minute brew time. Of course, the first time I realized the Edinburgh had been brewing for 9 or 10 minutes, the result was a very different cup of tea...more flavorful, richer, and distinctively smooth, but not bitter in the least considering the longer brew time. It is not among my very favorite teas (that distinction is currently reserved for PG Tips Gold, PG Tips Original, and Taylors of Harrogate Gold), but I like it a lot. To my taste, Edinburgh Scottish is excellent tea when brewed for at least 8-10 minutes. I will certainly purchase it again in spite of its significantly higher price point, and I will try other offerings from Edinburgh.

Great Tea
Finally found a tea that I enjoy - a strong cup without the bitter after taste. I had this tea in Scotland and brought back several boxes from last year’s trip. Now buying from Amazon and enjoying a cup or two daily. I’m able to get 2 cups out of a single tea bag. The second cup is slightly weaker but still a great rich flavor. It’s even great cold!
