This is a gift for my Son in Law that plays Mother Ginger in the Nutcracker.

I ordered several Kurt Adler ornaments this year. The Nutcracker is a family tradition that has continued from my childhood. I've always wanted to do a Nutcracker-themed tree so I've been collecting ornaments to do that. These are amongst the best Nutcracker ornaments I've ever seen. They're intricately painted and the elements used to create them are excellent. They are just beautiful. They are fragile though. One of them was broken in shipment but I returned it and got a new one in good time. Put them high up on your tree if you have little hands in your house. :-) I will be ordering more in the future to complete my tree.

I love this one! We are huge Nutcracker ballet fans and find a local performance to attend in December. I love the Madam Ginger scene, though we have attended some performances that don’t include it. This ornament is perfect, and I couldn’t resist buying it when I saw it was on sale (I’ve had it in my savedfor later list forever). It is bigger than I thought, and apparently well-made because the packing was a little lacking, just wrapped in bubble wrap and put in a thin plastic envelope. Oh well, it survived! It will be on our tree at Christmas.

This is a cute ornament for Nutcracker ballet lovers. Careful, these break easy. Be ready to keep out of reach of pets and kids, and to store carefully. This particular ornament is built a little sturdier than the others.
