Great product & worth the investment
ASSEMBLYAssembly was quite easy with the enclosed assembly instructions. If you can follow instructions for other products on paper, you should be fine with assembly of this product as well. Instructions are straightforward and easy to follow. My 12 year old directed the installation, while i was just there to help. Once the frame was assembled, we attached the net. Again, this process was pretty straightforward and simple. They provide plenty of bungees to alter the force of the rebound to your liking. This is the only part my son really needed help. I pulled the net while he attached the hooks. Overall, assembly took a little less than 30 minutes from start to finish. The Rebounder folds down enough to easily carry outside and seem to be somewhat portable by simply folding down and just disconnecting the base The poles are very light weight, yet they seems durable. The product seems to have been designed well enough so that it won't tip over - the stakes really seem to just keep it from sliding back during use.TRAINING WITH THE REBOUNDERAfter assembly and moving it outdoors my son and I took our ball and gloves and tested the netting and several position settings for various drills and fielding options. There are 7 different angles that can be configured to produce different rebounds. We are still learning the best configuration but so far we've been able to produce line drives, one-hop ground balls, and a variety of other situations. Standing at an angle and tossing the ball allows for movement drills to chase ground balls or quick reaction for line drives just out of reach. Still looking the right configuration for deep pop-ups. Perhaps PowerNet can provide more documentation on usage scenarios.INITIAL TAKESo far I am impressed with this product. I like the light weight and simplicity of setup. It's a well thought out design. I feel like my money was well spent and that this will last for years. It is large enough to provide variety in training drills, but not too large to move around the yard. That being said, it is almost too big to transport to and from the fields to run drills for the travel team I manage, but it is much more portable then most that i have seen and used.

Solid product; recommend viewing video before assembling
I have used Powernet products with my teams and players previously and have been very happy with them. This adjustable rebounder is no exception. It's the first rebounder I have used in years. So far I am satisfied with the product. It seems pretty sturdy, and has the adjustable feature, which allows for some flexibility in terms of use. Assembly was pretty simple and straightforward. I would recommend having a look at the video before putting it together. I didn't, and wish I had. Still came together nicely. It uses bungees to fasten the netting. Getting them on the poles required some patience but overall nothing too major. I've only had it up for about a week so I can't speak to its durability or long term performance, but if my prior experience with Powernet products holds to form I think it'll hold up pretty well. The only thing I don't like is that it's not portable. I realize that's not an intended or advertised feature of this rebounder, but if you're a coach, instructor, or mom or dad who wants something you can take with you to the practice field this may present some challenges. It's pretty big and doesn't fold or break down for storage or transport. I think this is a great product to have if you're going to keep it in your yard or at the ballpark. If you want something you can take back and forth, you might consider other options unless you have a large SUV/truck. Otherwise, I'm pretty pleased with this unit, as I have been with previous purchases of Powernet hitting/fielding nets and other training/practice equipment.

Randomness makes perfect!
Catch with my son was getting better and better but he was still having issues in a game. After watching him he was waiting for the ball to come right to him. So I started looking for a rebounded( something that will provide a level randomness. The are several ones on the market at varying prices. I have always been a fan of Powernet and was excited to see them come out with this one. The price point is perfect and the quality to match. Out of the box you can tell it will last several seasons of abuse. It's VERY well built, and very heavy. I don't need to anchor it in the ground, it works perfectly without any added support. My wife and I build it in about 15 mins. My son was so excited that he ran inside and got a ball and glove. Just as I hoped the randomness of the rebound it greatly improving his game. One thing that I would like to see in a future product would be more mobility to take it to and from a practice field (in breaks down easy but still a hassle to deal with.) With all that said we love Powernet and the products they make.

Great product Powernet!
Daughter plays travel ball and recently made her HS team. The girl is always out working on her game. Over the years, she has pounded that ball over and over again into the brick wall on the westside of my house. When I saw this product I knew it would be perfect.Something that I didn't think I would be writing about, was the fun of putting it together. When they get older, the amount of things you get to do together decreases. This was about 45 minutes of delight as it was simple enough that my daughter and I assembled it together. As far as the product, the combination of the tightness of the net along with the 40 bungee cords, REALLY produces a good bounce of a softball off the net. The fact that you can make it give flyballs or one-hoppers makes it invaluable. I already have one of the POWERNET big mouth nets.....was super pleased with this product also!!

Just what we were looking for
This was not that hard to but together, it did take two of us though. It is perfect for my son and he has really enjoyed playing with it. He likes that it is adjustable too.

Decent net, lower quality parts
Metal parts started rusting from rain in a couple of days, and at least 1/4 of bungee straps are sun damaged in 3 weeks. Otherwise works as described.

Poor quality
After six weeks of use half of the bands attaching the frame with the net have snapped. They are not sturdy and are tearing with just a nine year old throwing a ball into it. So many have already snapped the net is effectively useless at this point.
