Perfect for using all available grocer rewards points on fuel fill-ups
I ride a Harley everyday to work. I fill up with gas every 4 days. I never used my available grocery store rewards points for the $1 off per gallon gas fill-ups because I didn't want to only use 5 to 6 gallons of my available 35 gallon discount. My motorcycle requires premium 91 gas, so it definitely made the most sense for me to figure out a method to get the biggest discount on the most expensive gas at the pump. I did my research and went with (2) of these 15-gallon Flo-Fast containers. After doing the math, I realized that even after purchasing these containers, I'd break even and start saving $ within 6 months. I'm extremely happy with my decision. The containers are well made, heavy-duty with a metal vent and tight sealing lids. The containers are rated at 15 gallons, but if you don't actually plan on lifting and tipping them to dispense gas, they can hold closer to 17-18 gallons while keeping the gas just below the vent valve. I'm a large man and have no issues lifting the full containers into my vehicle, but keep in mind that when these are full they weigh well over 100+ lbs and most will probably require 2 people to hoist them into your vehicle (since filling on your vehicle is not recommended due to static electricity). The other half of the storage equation was figuring out how to easily dispense the gas into my motorcycle. I did a bunch of research on transfer pumps and this info should help anyone looking into the same type of setup. Tera-Pump makes what I would consider the (almost) perfect transfer pump at this link from Amazon:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01HOXQ5E0?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_detailsIt's both a 12v DC & 120V AC transfer pump that works really well..."almost" perfectly. I say "almost" because the shaft of the pump is not long enough to reach the bottom of these Flo-Fast containers...not even close. The containers are roughly 28" tall and the shaft on the Tera-Pump is almost a foot too short once submerged. A foot of space at the bottom of these containers is about 8 gallons of fuel. I used some ingenuity and added about a foot of CPAP tubing to the end of the pump so that I could reach the bottom of the container. The process actually works, but it has 2 major drawbacks. First, the Tera-Pump doesn't actually use suction to draw gas out of the containers. The end of the shaft has a small impeller that pushes gas up and out of the pump system. In order to even start drawing out gas, the end of the pump shaft has to be submerged in the gas. Once it primes and starts to pump, the air-tight CPAP tubing continues to siphon gas out of the container until the container is empty or I stop pumping because the gas tank is full. Once I stop pumping, it loses the prime and won't start up again if the gas is below the end of the pump shaft. The second drawback with the process, is the CPAP tubing dries out and cracks after 2 months or so. Once it does, it's no longer air-tight and I need to replace the tubing to keep the process going. As you can imagine, getting the remaining gas out of these containers when there's only a couple of gallons at the bottom is a total pain in the butt. You have to tip the container and attempt to get the bottom of the shaft submerged in enough gas to start the priming and pump process...it's not ideal. After doing a bunch more research, I decided on this GasTapper 12V Max transfer pump:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MS4T9OD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2_dt_b_product_detailsIt costs over twice as much as the TeraPump but completely eliminates the "shaft too short" issue which NO ONE likes. :-) The intake tubing is 8 ft long and has a heavy brass end that sinks to the bottom of the container. The dispensing tube is also 8 ft long and has a wire reinforced end which can be held and used like a regular gas pump handle. The on/off valve of the pump is an air controlled "bulb" that has a long cord which you can hold and easily use to control the on and off process. The pump is powered by a 12V cigarette lighter plug that I connect onto my bike to power the unit. I can't review the longevity of the pump motor, but the unit is made in the USA and definitely feels solid and isn't made out of cheap materials. In the end, I'm now able to utilize my full fuel rewards point discounts on my frequent motorcycle fill-ups. I keep these Flo-Fast containers in a shed on the side of my house and simply roll my bike next to the shed when it's time to fill up. My goal has been achieved.Hopefully this review helps!

Love it!
This product is Awesome if you don't have to lay it down to get it home. Unfortunately I had to lay mine down in the trunk of my car to get it home and because the lid is not secure enough gas spilled all over. (Don't get that mixed up with me not securing the lid. I def. made sure that I secured the lid). Now my car is a non-stop gas smelling machine. It's been a over a week, smell still hasn't completely subsided yet😔. Had to buy an air purifier for when I'm driving😒. I did figure out how to secure it, but it is also a pretty big container, which I love, don't get me wrong, but I don't have space to store it😗. Overall awesome product, may repurchase when I move and see what my storage is looking like!

Used two of these after hurricane Ian
Great way to load up on more gas for the generator. Used an auto siphon to transfer to smaller cans to fill the generator. Added 178 hours to the generator ~ 100 gallons of gas, 3 oil changes . .

Hurricane season
This actually took 16 gallons of fuel. I purchased the optional pump because 100 pounds of fuel is just a bit too heavy for me.There are not many high capacity fuel storage units on the market. I have been looking for awhile when I found this. Because of the weight I needed a helping hand to get it back into my car. I am 72 and not as strong as I was when I was 70:)

Excellent customer support, fine product
We bought two of these for fueling our boat. One had a manufacturing defect. Happily, the seller kindly replaced it without any problems even though technically we were past the return date. These are nice and large, easy to fill, and great for boaters or folks who need to have fuel on hand for hurricanes or other emergencies. We recommend the item AND the seller. It's refreshing to find a company that really stands behind their products!

Great product
Perfect size to use with their pump, fill tank in the back of your pickup then pump into tractor, then take out of pickup and store until next use light and easy to handle when empty even with pump installed
