The inside walls on these tweezers are smooth / flat. so they really don't clamp down on what you're trying to grab, like a hair for instance. So if you're pulling on a hair, even if you have it, it will slide through your tweezer. they need interlocking teeth to be truly effective. I kept them but they're a disappointment.
