Ancra 49970-202 Black Gradual Release Big Bike Ratcheting Tie Down - Pair

I use these for an ATV in the back of a pickup. I used to use cam buckle tiedowns (good quality) but I could not get the quad down far enough to avoid the possibility of bouncing such that the tiedown would come loose. These are much stronger and far easier to use - no more yanking and pulling to get it cinched down. The ratchets make it effortless and easy and offer a higher load limit.The gradual release is a great feature to make releasing easier - not only is the sudden pop release gone, but it's much easier to work to release than other ratchet straps.I just use the s-hooks, but if you have a bike or anything else you want to protect, you can get the strap loops to protect chrome, finish, etc.

Ancra USED to be made in the USA but not anymore. On the back of these tire downs it is stamped made in CHINA. Will they hold the bike? They probably will but I won't know because they are going back. I bought these due to my older ancra tie downs being US made. Nowhere in the ad does it state where they are made. I will no longer purchase any Ancra products.

Sturdy, big.....BUT.....straps should way longer

These are well made with heavy straps. The gradual release feature is a plus. I trust these to keep my heavy motorcycle (900 lbs) in place in the trailer.

These stay tight, a great strap. I use them on my Harley and once set never to re-tighten them.

Not very happy, the description says “pair” and the order is 2 or 4. When I ordered “2” I thought I was getting two pair. Otherwise Ancra is the #1 name in tie downs. They are great.
