DALIOberon Vokal (Light Oak)

I recently changed out my home theater speakers from my previous in-wall Axiom Audio M-3's to the Dali Oberon on-wall speakers. The sound improvement was dramatic! The Axiom's were good speakers but the Dali's are a great speaker! I was shocked that such a slim cabinet mounted on the wall would produce such alive, open sound! At this point I still was using an Axiom Audio on-wall center channel speaker but now I was curious to know if switching that out to the Dali Vokl center channel would make a noticeable improvement. I found the Dali Vokl center channel on Amazon, and although it was considerably more expensive than my Axiom center channel I pulled the trigger. Glad I did, the Dali made a huge improvement in the sound quality, both in clarity of dialog in movies and with music! I tend to listen to a lot of background music through my home theater system when I'm working in our living room. Listening to well recorded music through the Dali's was where I noticed the biggest improvement over my original speakers, the Danes know how to build speakers, highly recommended!

I replaced a B&W 600 series center speaker with the Dali Oberon Vokal because I was having trouble understanding speech in the midst of background sounds, say during a battle in a movie. I find speech coming through the Oberon Vokal is much clearer and easy to understand. The Vokal is a more expensive speaker than the B&W it replaced, but if it's in your price range it's worth every penny. I highly recommend it.

I have this set up with some Oberon 7 towers. Love the Oberon 7's but the Oberon Vokal is lacking in comparison. It's a perfectly decent center, but is not a good value considering one Vokal costs almost 80% of the price of one Oberon 7. I have a Klipsch center in a separate Klipsch-based system that is larger and was 50 dollars less than this Dali and the Klipsch is more intelligible and simply sounds better.

It’s small but the sound is big and dialogue is clear. Perfect match with Oberon 3.

Come ho già scritto per i frontali Oberon 1, anche il Vokal presenta le stesse caratteristiche. I diffusori sono arrivati ben imballati, protetti bene, si nota le qualità costruttiva e l'assemblaggio dei materiali, ottimo il colore bianco con la protezione grigia simil tessuto che dona ancora più eleganza. Obbligatorio come completamento del mio impianto home theatre, che adesso può vantare dialoghi più cristallini anche a basso volume. Come breve aggiunta, posso dirvi che il mio impianto è composto da 2 oberon 5 frontali, 2 oberon 1 per gli effetti posteriori e il centrale, senza subwoofer, già perché pur essendo cosi composto non sento l'esigenza di aggiungere profondità al suono.
