Great cooler - especially for the price!
Since installation, my CPU temp has been consistantly low, which is great! Before that I had been using the stock cooling fan which had come with my CPU, and the temps varied wildly. After looking at various sites I heard abnout this particular product and heard nothing but good things about it - and after finding it, the price was certainly one! If you have a super-powerful computer you may want to invest in something a little showier (like liquid-cooling) and it's not necessarily the prettiest fan cooler out there, but it does the job and it does it well, and I am more than satisfied with it.

This is a great bit of kit Im using this on a amd 8320 running at 4ghz No load ticks over around 36c full load all cores 100% Prime95 72c Gaming Crysis 3 (ultra) 54c the only thing I say lets this down is the Fan max rpm is about 1650 But saying that, its very quite

Really good value for money, albeit the hard installing system but it's not too difficult.
What can I say? For a price like this I'm really enjoying the cooling its delivering to my CPU. Just push through the installation and enjoy the coolness it'll provide!

It works
It took a stock Ryzen5 3600 with stock Ryzen cooler, runing at ~82 degrees way down to ~35 - 42 (highest I've seen with it), running a game at Ultra high graphics, 144Mhz screen at 4K with FPS around 85

My CPU temp above 95 with stock cooler. after installing this now it is contant 65-75 during game and stream. sometime spike 90 but this not any issue. on idle it cooled my PC at 38 ambient temp is 30.

Perfect in every way. I think there is a reason the stock heat sinks for Intel and AMD are downward pointing. They are more efficient at cooling. Shots the air right down on the CPU base. Can be oriented in 4 directions. The up and down orientations will be less likely to fit if: 1) You have a video card. Will be near impossible to orient down like that. 2) You have a small case with little room above the motherboard. I have a Cooler Master HAF 922 case, which is almost a full tower case. It clears my G.Skill Ripjaw RAM with room to spare. And helps cool it as well. Even at full blast this thing is quiet. My video card fan is the loudest thing in my case. I am using it to cool an AMD FX-8320 Keeps temps at least 10 deg C cooler than stock fan at idle. At max fan speed (CPU Idle) temp is 39 deg C. At Minimum fan speed and opening 10 programs it got all the way up to 44 deg C. Then returned to 42 deg C.

I purchased this cooler since I am familiar with Cooler Master products, and I have the Hyper 212 EVO, which lasted me a long while. So I wanted to upgrade since I bought a new cpu (improving from a i5 to a i7 4790k).If you already have a Cooler Master product, installation will be easy, because I left the old motherboard bracing from the old Evo. The cooler base is a bit bigger than the 212, and you will need the new X Bracket since your old one will not work on this cooler. I would not use the Intel push pin solution on this fan (just my observation) Otherwise, I added another fan (Master Pro Air Balance 120 - which is the exact fan that you get with this product) and just attached the provided brackets to hold on to this cooler for a push-pull solution. It is very quiet once you set your speed settings from your mobo (or if you have a fan controller). I also left the fan settings on the fans alone - It has 3 settings. Doesn't matter though because they are PWM fans. And it has the Cooler Master quality, so I know that this will last a long while. I think it is one of the best mid sized air coolers out there, unless you want to go with a Noctua which is very large, but highly rated. Or the Cooler Master V8 (which I hear that it is very difficult to install) Also use a good heat spread. Don't use the product that comes with the case. Use something like either Artic Silver 5 or Noctua NT-H1 Thermal Compound. I used the Noctua because it doesn't need the curing time that AS 5 needs. Plus it spreads better too.

This thing is great. Keeps an i7-4970k at 4.7ghz (stock voltage) cool at 35c when idel and 85c during full load in Aida64. Some extra perks are that this thing looks amazing, it's silent when at full load and the install is really good for a Cooler Master cooler. Quick tip, install with the motherboard outside of the case otherwise it'll be insanely hard to install.
