I'm picky and I love this phone!
I had an S7Edge, and before that, a Note5, and before that, another samsung. I wanted something different so I tried going to the Pixel 4XL with high hopes. What I found was that there were a lot of functions I loved on my Samsung that the Pixel didn't do or didn't do as well. This list included basic bluetooth connectivity, and specifically in my car. Just didn't work well on Pixel, always had to manually connect my phone to the car when I got in , even if i had just been playing music over bluetooth from my phone. Also included using a bluetooth connection to connect to google assistant and do things handsfree like call or text my husband. Pixel 4XL didn't respond with a voice and didn't follow commands via Google Assistant, which I had for 3 years on my S7Edge. So I returned the Pixel and got the S10+. I LOVE it. It's true the fingerprint thing never knows it's me, first -4th tries, but I do use the facial recognition which works perfectly. And the bluetooth works great getting in and out of my car, connecting to Google Assistant. I think the design of the phone is nothing exciting, but very functional and useful. I like the dual audio, which is not new, but it is new to me, and just how easy it is to download music, play music and podcasts, and use my phone for email, texting, etc. The phone is fast, certainly compared to my 3 year old phone, but the 90mHz display on the PIxel was nicer, I have to say. I turned off animations though, which helps. All in all, a great, functional, useful phone that I expect to enjoy for a long time.

This is it.
Imagine this. A s10e if you will. But bigger. Better camera, better picture quality, tons of additional quality of life. It's slightly bigger as well...BUT WITH RIDICULOUS battery life. I leave this phone on for a whole day. And even then it can keep going. Reading comics and emails, messaging, listening to music for hours in addition to YouTube videos....and yet it still has TONS of juice left. This thing, under full use all day...will last the ENTIRE day. Same can't be said for the s10e....and best part? It still has a 3.5mm headphone jack. Audio wise, Not as good as the s10e actually. But it's still there in an age of Wireless headphones. battery life, picture quality, ease of use, headphone jack, w all standard things that come from the s10 series....pushed further. This is it. This is the phone. Dont buy an s10 or s10e. Get this. This is your one stop shop. Want a good phone that'll last all day and has tons of old world swagger but can still hold its own against the new age? S10+ is your humble contender. 600? 800. Doesn't matter. This is your phone.

Nice interface and overall look, works well.
I love the way the phone looks, its colour and functionality, the phone came with its own screen protector from the seller which fits it nicely, it was affordable and worth every penny in my opinion, and all its features works well generally. However, I am not entirely impressed with its battery life, it could be better, I would suggest closing as much background apps as possible to help retain battery, and also switching on battery life saver, but doing so has its downsides in terms of limiting the phone's performance. Also be prepared for a lot of phone updates upon arrival, when I just got it I had to update it about 8 times to reach its current software version.

Fantasic Phone!
I love this phone! I'm a fan of Samsung Galaxy phones, but the latest releases are way too expensive for me. The S10+ is just recent enough to have all of the new, cool features. I love how sleek and thin the phone is and the bright pink color, but my favorite aspect of this phone is the large screen and the lighted edge feature. The camera also has really great quality. I had no issue getting this phone to work on my AT&T service. The only thing I ran into was that the sim card from my old phone was too big for this one, so I had to purchase a new, smaller sim card to fit this new phone, which actually wasn't expensive at all. Once I had the new sim, everything was fine.

Low light/indoor photo quality is a dealbreaker.
I've had the phone since May. This is what I wish had been clearer in reviews when I was researching. Bluetooth: disappointing. The connection is weak and I have to troubleshoot every time with anything I pair. Streaming is fine from the speakers but sounds like a skipping CD over Bluetooth. Phone speakers (media): good! They're nice and loud and the sound quality is great. I can play things on full volume and haven't blown the speakers out, which is excellent. Phone speakers (calls): not amazing, not terrible. If I'm in a quiet setting they're fine, but if I'm outside I have to either connect to my bluetooth headphones (see above bluetooth comments) or put it on speaker which isn't ideal. Screen brightness: very good! I can turn it all the way up and see it fine when it's sunny. Great for GPS when I'm on road trips as long as I turn off the auto-adjust. Video quality (media): nothing special. I mostly watch youtube and instagram videos on this phone and it seems about the same as my other devices. Camera: woof. This would have been an IMMEDIATE deal breaker if I'd known. It takes GORGEOUS photos outside in full sunlight but low light and indoor photos are horrendous. It doesn't photograph people of color well indoors *especially* if someone with darker skin is standing next to a white person. The selfie cameras are good, the zoom is super fun especially for wide landscape shots, but only in full daylight. I took photos of a sunrise that look like they were taken on a disposable camera, even after I changed the settings. I care most about taking pictures of my family and buds and this isn't the phone for that. Similar issues when I'm taking videos instead of photos. I don't think I'll buy another Samsung product after this. A good camera and high photo quality are essential to me and this one doesn't hold a candle to the Pixel.
